We present a case of rib osteoblastoma in a patient with NK/T cell lymphoma. Osteoblastoma was incidentally found in a 63-year-old man in the axillary segment of the fifth rib and was misdiagnosed as lymphomatous involvement on staging 18F-FDG PET/CT. The radiological features in the CT component of PET/CT were atypical.

Here we evaluated the association of plasma levels of TMAO and choline with imaging markers of cerebral small vessel disease, including white matter hyperintensities, lacunes, and cerebral microbleeds. We performed a baseline cross-sectional analysis of a multicenter hospital-based cohort study from 2015 to 2018.

In recent years, silver nanoparticles have been used as modern chemotherapeutic drugs to treat several cancers such as pancreatic, breast, prostate, and blood cancers. No previous reports demonstrated the in vitro anti-human pancreatic cancer effects of the novel chemotherapeutic drug formulated by silver nanoparticles containing Berberis thunbergii leaf (AgNPs). The synthesized AgNPs were characterized using different techniques including UV-vis.

A pooled analysis of risk factors of surgically treated leiomyosarcoma of the colon in adults.

Background: This current systematic review aimed to evaluate the role of surgical management and risk factors by pooled cases from all identified patients with colonic leiomyosarcomas.

Methods: The authors searched the Ovid MEDLINE, Embase, PubMed, and Cochrane databases using the keywords "colonic," "colon," and "leiomyosarcoma." Risk factors of colonic leiomyosarcoma in the pooled cohort were also evaluated.

Multidrug resistant lymph node fistula tracheobronchial tuberculosis: A case report.

Rationale: The patient in this case report has been diagnosed with multidrug resistant lymph node fistula tracheobronchial tuberculosis (TBTB). The PubMed was searched using the keywords "Tuberculosis, Multidrug-Resistant", "Tuberculosis", and "Bronchial Fistula", and the results yielded no similar case reports. Therefore, this report helps us to explore more on the causes of multidrug resistance and formation of lymph node fistula, as well as associated treatment strategies.

Background: Many studies have explored the prognostic value of T-cell lymphoma invasion and metastasis inducing factor 1 (Tiam1) and its association with lymphatic metastasis in malignant solid tumors, but the conclusions remain controversial. Therefore, we performed a meta-analysis to systematically assess the prognostic value of Tiam1 expression and its association with lymphatic metastasis in malignant solid tumors.

Methods: We searched eligible studies in PubMed, Web of Science and EMBASE databases (from inception up to October 2018).

[Value of CT imaging of inferior vena cava and hepatic vein in patients with hepatic cystic echinococcosis].

Objective: To evaluate the accuracy of CT imaging of inferior vena cava and hepatic vein in patients with hepatic cystic echinococcosis.

Methods: A total of 100 patients with hepatic cystic echinococcosis were given triple-phase abdominal CT scan, and the reconstructed images of the inferior vena cava and hepatic vein were obtained and compared to the real situation during the surgical operation. The reliability of the CT evaluation of the echinococcus cyst lesion invading inferior vena cava and hepatic vein was analyzed.

Application of fluorescence hybridization in the detection of bladder transitional-cell carcinoma: A multi-center clinical study based on Chinese population.

Objective: To evaluate the diagnostic value of fluorescence hybridization (FISH) in bladder cancer.

Methods: We enrolled healthy volunteers and patients who were clinically suspected to have bladder cancer and conducted FISH tests and cytology examinations from August 2007 to December 2008. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis was performed and the area under curve (AUC) values were calculated for both the FISH and urine cytology tests.

Purposes: The present study examined the value of P(v-a)CO2/C(a-v)O2 compared with ScvO2 as a target for clinical resuscitation of severe sepsis/septic shock.

Materials And Methods: 228 patients were randomly divided into a P(v-a)CO2/C(a-v)O2-targeted and a ScvO2-targeted therapy group. The effects on hemodynamics, interventional intensity, and outcome were recorded and analyzed.

In this study, we proposed lymphocyte/monocyte ratio (LMR) as a new prognostic factor for these early stage ENKTL. : We retrospectively examined the LMR as a prognostic variable in a cohort of 379 patients with newly diagnosed stage IE/IIE ENKTL.

Background: MicroRNA (miR)-126, acting as a tumor suppressor, has been reported to inhibit the invasion of gastric cancer cells in part by targeting v-crk sarcoma virus CT10 oncogene homologue (CRK). The aim of this study was to investigate the clinical significance of miR-126/CRK axis in gastric cancer.

Methods: miR-126 and CRK mRNA expression levels were detected by real-time quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction in 220 self-pairs of gastric cancer and adjacent noncancerous tissues.

Objective: To study basic thyroid stimulating hormone (bTSH) levels impact on outcomes of in vitro fertilization (IVF) or intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) in Qinghai.

Methods: Totally 282 cases with IVF cycles and 93 cases with ICSI cycles were studied prospectively, according to bTSH level, patients were divided into four groups. Reproduction rate, clinical pregnancy rate, miscarriage rate and live birth rate were studied among four groups.
