The concentration of chlorpyrifos (CPF) in aqueous samples was determined using a novel molecularly imprinted dispersive solid-phase extraction (MISPE) approach that was presented in this research. Using a non-covalent molecular imprinting technique, a biochar (BC)-functionalized molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) (BC-MIPs) was created. These MIPs were used in dispersive solid-phase extraction (DSPE) in conjunction with high-performance liquid chromatography with photodiode array detection (HPLC-PDA) to detect CPF in aqueous samples with high sensitivity.

Background/purpose: The use of human dental pulp stem cells (hDPSCs) as autologous stem cells for tissue repair and regenerative techniques is a significant area of global research. The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of long-term in vitro culture on the multidifferentiation potential of hDPSCs and the potential molecular mechanisms involved.

Materials And Methods: The tissue block method was used to extract hDPSCs from orthodontic-minus-extraction patients, which were then expanded and cultured in vitro for 12 generations.

Thermoelectric generators (TEGs) are environmentally friendly energy harvesting technologies that hold great promise in the field of self-powered electronics and sensing. However, the current development of thermoelectric (TE) devices has largely lagged behind the development of thermoelectric materials, especially in the preparation of thermoelectric components with customizable shapes and excellent properties, which largely limits their practical applications. These issues can be effectively addressed by using 3D printing technology.

Article Synopsis
  • * It identifies three personality types among nursing students: Over-sensitivity, Ordinary, and Flexibility, and highlights the role of a nursing role model in shaping these personalities.
  • * Resilience is found to significantly mediate the connection between personality traits and the development of professional identity, suggesting it is a key factor for educators to consider in interventions.

Anthocyanins have received the attention of the scientific community because of their antioxidant, antimetastatic, and cancer-inhibitory properties. The aim of this review is to comprehensively summarize the possible mechanisms by which anthocyanins exhibit anticarcinogenic properties in breast cancer (BC) cell lines and animal models. Anthocyanins inhibit proinflammatory, signal transducer and activator of transcription 3, and nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B cell pathways and increase the activities of detoxification enzymes.

The heterogeneous Fenton-like reaction, as an advanced oxidation process, is widely recognized attributed to its recyclability, wide pH response range, easy solid-liquid separation, and non-production of iron sludge. Recently, the bimetallic catalysts have attracted intense attention due to their high catalytic performance and excellent stability over a wide pH range. In this article, CuCo/SCN bimetallic catalyst was prepared by pyrolysis method with sulfur doped carbon nitride (SCN) as the carrier.

Purpose: Sense of coherence is significant to mental health and professional development in nursing students. However, the association among stress/resource complex, sense of coherence, and professional identity is less explored in nursing students. This study was designed to identify latent subtypes of stress/resource complex and to evaluate the mediating role of sense of coherence between stress/resource complex types and professional identity in nursing students.

Osteoporosis is one of the most common diseases in the world which resulted in heavy socioeconomic burden and a public health threat. Glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis (GIO) is the most common secondary reason of osteoporosis. Therapeutic strategies using traditional Chinese medicine are under investigation for osteoporosis, with efforts to improve efficacy and clarify the mechanism.
