Advances in the field of nanomaterials are laying the foundation for the fabrication of nanosensors that are sensitive, selective, specific, cost-effective, biocompatible, and versatile. Being highly sensitive and selective, nanosensors are crucial in detecting small quantities of analytes and early diagnosis of diseases. These devices, operating on the nanoscale, detect signals, such as physical, chemical, optical, electrochemical, or biological, and then transduce them into a readable form.

Quantum magnetic materials can provide explicit realizations of paradigm models in quantum many-body physics. In this context, SrCu_{2}(BO_{3})_{2} is a faithful realization of the Shastry-Sutherland model for ideally frustrated spin dimers, even displaying several of its quantum magnetic phases as a function of pressure. We perform inelastic neutron scattering measurements on SrCu_{2}(BO_{3})_{2} at 5.

Biological variation in laboratory results refers to physiological fluctuations that occur around a homeostatic setpoint (HSP) for various laboratory measurands. Assessment of biological variation includes determining individual variation (CV), group variation (CV), and analytical variation (CV). Reference change value (RCV) is an objective tool for an evidence-based approach to interpret data by assessing the significance of consecutive results in an individual for the diagnosis, prognosis, and monitoring of disease.

Background: Oral Food Challenges (OFC) are essential for the diagnosis and follow-up of acute Food Protein-Induced Enterocolitis Syndrome (FPIES) because no diagnostic or prognostic biomarkers are available. However, the optimal OFC procedure remains unclear.
Objectives: This systematic review aimed to assess OFC procedures' design and clinical outcomes in patients with FPIES.

A decrease in REM time during polysomnography (PSG) in patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) can result in underestimation of apnea hypopnea index (AHI). We propose adjusting AHI to normalized REM% in subjects with REM% ≤15% to avoid under diagnosis of OSA. All children who completed diagnostic PSG from 2016 to 2023 with REM% of ≤ 15% of total TST were selected for adjustment.

Introduction: Appendiceal mucinous neoplasms (AMNs) represent a rare and diagnostically challenging group of tumors. This systematic review aims to summarize the reported molecular and immunohistochemical markers (IHC) associated with AMNs and compare them with ovarian mucinous neoplasms (OMNs) and colorectal adenocarcinoma (CRC).
Methods: A comprehensive search was performed in PubMed/MEDLINE/PMC, Scopus, Embase, and Web of Science databases to identify studies looking at IHC and molecular markers in AMNs.

Many dietary supplements commonly used by bodybuilders and athletes carry thrombogenic risks, potentially leading to life-threatening conditions like arterial and venous thrombosis by either elevating testosterone levels or directly interfering with homeostasis. Increased awareness and further research are crucial for consumer safety and supplement regulation.

Bioaerosols, pose potential health risks, yet quantitative assessments of non-carcinogenic risks from bioaerosol inhalation are limited. This study introduces a novel approach for assessing non-carcinogenic health risks using bioaerosol exposure data. The method employs the Average Daily Dose and Hazard Quotient (HQ) metrics, adapted from US Environmental Protection Agency guidelines, with the Reference Dose (RfD) based on thresholds from the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health and the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists.

Background: Grounding on the Resource-Based View (RBV) and organization support theory (OST), this study examines the effect of talent management practice (TMP) on perceived organizational support (POS), organizational performance (OP), and employee performance (EP) within the Jordanian telecom sector, with a specific focus on the mediating effect of POS's between TMP-EP and OP relationship.
Methods: This study uses a cross-sectional method to collect data from 397 personnel at three Jordanian telecom enterprises. The Smart-PLS application assisted with structural equation modeling, which was used to examine the data.

Background: The collum angle, tooth dimensions, root length, and alveolar bone thickness have a significant impact on orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning. The boundaries of orthodontic tooth movement are determined by alveolar bone thickness and dimensions while the collum angle determines the appropriate positioning of the root relative to the cortical plate. This study aimed to compare the collum angle, crown dimensions, root length, and alveolar bone thickness of the upper and lower incisors, canines, and premolars in subjects with varying anteroposterior relationships.

Introduction: Migraine is a debilitating neurological disorder characterized by recurrent throbbing, moderate-to-severe headaches that disrupt daily chores, leisure, and social activities of patients, impacting their overall quality of life (QoL). Despite the high disease burden, there is a scarcity of data on migraines within the Middle East (ME) region. Thus, a systematic literature review (SLR) was conducted to examine epidemiological data, treatment patterns, QoL, and unmet needs regarding migraines in the ME region.

Despite seemingly inexorable imminent risks of food insecurity that hang over the world, especially in developing countries like Pakistan where traditional agricultural methods are being followed, there still are opportunities created by technology that can help us steer clear of food crisis threats in upcoming years. At present, the agricultural sector worldwide is rapidly pacing towards technology-driven Precision Agriculture (PA) approaches for enhancing crop protection and boosting productivity. Literature highlights the limitations of traditional approaches such as chances of human error in recognizing and counting pests, and require trained labor.

Estimating the numbers and whereabouts of internally displaced people (IDP) is paramount to providing targeted humanitarian assistance. In conflict settings like the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, on-the-ground data collection is nevertheless often inadequate to provide accurate and timely information. Satellite imagery may sidestep some of these challenges and enhance our understanding of the IDP dynamics.

The GH secretagogue receptor (GHSR) and the glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor (GLP-1R) are G protein-coupled receptors with critical, yet opposite, roles in regulating energy balance. Interestingly, these receptors are expressed in overlapping brain regions. However, the extent to which they target the same neurons and engage in molecular crosstalk remains unclear.
