Objectives: Current research was done to evaluate the effectiveness of 38% silver diamine fluoride (SDF) on carious lesions in deciduous teeth.
Materials And Method: The study included kids who had at least one carious lesion in accordance to the International Caries Detection and Assessment System II. A 38% SDF (FAgamin, Tedequim Company, Córdoba, Argentina) solution was applied directly to the lesion on the deciduous teeth as per the manufacturer's instructions.

Numbness of the lower lip, the skin of the chin, or the gingiva of the lower anterior teeth secondary to various dental diseases is a common manifestation that is largely underappreciated. The association of numb chin syndrome (NCS) with serious disease like metastatic malignancy and systemic conditions is frequent enough to warrant a search for these possible etiologies. In this paper we report a case of NCS that occurred secondary to malignant disease; we discuss our findings with special emphasis on metastatic malignancies leading to NCS, when the survival is only for a few months.

A study was conducted to evaluate the level of oral health awareness in a selected sample of Indian children and a selected sample of western children residing in Amritsar city of Punjab. Children were evaluated on the basis of a standardized questionnaire developed by WHO, for health awareness in children. Final results revealed the level of awareness in both the groups and the practical application of their knowledge about dental health in day to day life.

Twenty subjects, with an indication for restoration of three primary molars with stainless steel crowns, were selected. Sixty teeth were taken up for the study, and twenty crowns were cemented with each of the three luting cements.

Tongue, because of its surface texture contributes significantly in plaque formation and accumulation, has remained a neglected part in the oral cavity. The study conducted on twenty students aged 18 to 23 years, was undertaken to clinically evaluate the role of supplementing tongue brushing to most advocated regime of tooth brushing. In both the phases of the study, plaque scoring was done daily and oral debris was collected on the eighth day.

This study was conducted on six rabbits, six rats and six human permanent teeth to evaluate histologically the effect of resin resorcinol in the periapical areas, the bacteriological aspect of the resin and the penetration of resin in the dentinal tubules. After 12 days period of observation plenty of lymphocytes and macrophages were evident along with granulomas which are suggestive of the tendency of the resin to stay longer. It was observed that the resin penetrate approximately three fourth distance inside the dentinal tubules.

The study was conducted in vivo (30 teeth) and in-vitro (135 teeth) to evaluate the leakage of apical plug with Renew, Synthograft and Control. In-vivo it was observed that Renew is significantly effective and it showed its immediate effect after filling whereas the Synthograft is not effective immediately but it is effective after 3 months and in control group the apical plug was effective after six months. When examined in vitro, it was observed that there was more leakage in Synthograft and control as compared to Renew in anterior, premolars and molars.
