Unusual critical behavior of Griffiths ferromagnet HoNiMnOat magnetic phase transition.

The critical behavior at the ferromagnetic to paramagnetic phase transition of a Griffiths ferromagnet, HoNiMnO, is studied using modified Arrott plot, Kouvel-Fisher, and critical isotherm analysis. Here, we report a second-order phase transition and conclude from the estimated critical exponents that it is unusual and do not belong to conventional universality classes. However, they obey scaling relationships, which indicates the renormalization of interactions around the phase transition temperature.

A prospective study was conducted in sixty (60) cases of advanced Head and Neck malignancy (stage III and IV). Patient were divided in two randomized groups (30 each), group I received chemoradiation and group II received radiation alone.

Targets' Coping Responses to Workplace Bullying with Moderating Role of Perceived Organizational Tolerance: A Two-Phased Study of Faculty in Higher Education Institutions.

This study aims to examine the relationship between workplace bullying and Exit-Voice-Loyalty-Neglect (EVLN) coping responses with Perceived Organizational Tolerance (POT) of bullying as moderator using the integrated model of reactance and learned helplessness theory. The data has been collected from junior faculty in higher education institutes of Punjab. The study has been conducted in two phases, with phase 1 including identifying targets of workplace bullying using cut-off scores and phase 2 studying the perceived organizational tolerance.

A review of current treatment strategies based on cisplatin for leishmaniosis.

Background/aims: Past few decades have seen major revisions in the Tuberculosis (TB) control programs time and again with a goal to strengthen the delivery of services and achieve elimination of the disease. Daily Directly Observed Treatment, Short-course (DOTS) Fixed dose combination (FDC) was one such major leap and aimed to simplify the treatment regimen, reduce pill burden, avoid drug monotherapy, improve compliance, reduce chances of drug resistance, decrease stigma and make the treatment more patient friendly. We intended to study the impact and acceptance of this changed FDC daily DOTS at the grass root level.

Effect of the substituent on C-H activation catalyzed by a non-heme Fe(IV)O complex: a computational investigation of reactivity and hydrogen tunneling.

Density functional theory investigations were performed to address the C-H activation reactivity and the influence of quantum mechanical tunneling catalyzed by a non-heme iron(IV)-oxo complex, namely [FeOdpaq-X], where the macrocyclic ligand dpaq represents {2-[bis(pyridine-2-yl-methyl)]amino--quinolin-8-yl-acetamido}. Counter ion and solvent corrections were incorporated in the computation to avoid self-interaction error. To find the impact of the indirectly linked substituents to the central metal atom, Fe, the macrocyclic ligand dpaq was substituted at the 5-position of its quinoline moiety represented as dpaq-X and the reactivity and hydrogen tunneling were compared with the parent ligand dpaq-H.

The present study aims to vermiremediate allopathic pharmaceutical industry sludge (AS) amended with cattle dung (CD), in different feed mixtures (AS:CD) i.e (AS) 0:100 [Positive control], (AS) 25:75, (AS) 50:50, (AS) 75:25 and (AS) 100:0 [Negative Control] for 180 days using earthworm Eisenia fetida. The earthworms could thrive and grow well up to the AS feed mixture.
