Nano-transfer printing (nTP) has emerged as an effective method for fabricating three-dimensional (3D) nanopatterns on both flat and non-planar substrates. However, most transfer-printed 3D patterns tend to exhibit non-discrete and/or non-porous structures, limiting their application in high-precision nanofabrication. In this study, we introduce a simple and versatile approach to produce highly ordered, porous 3D cross-bar arrays through precise control of the nTP process parameters.

Despite the very high theoretical energy density, Li-S batteries still need to fundamentally overcome the sluggish redox kinetics of lithium polysulfides (LiPSs) and low sulfur utilization that limit the practical applications. Here, highly active and stable cathode, nitrogen-doped porous carbon nanotubes (NPCTs) decorated with NiCoS nanocrystals are systematically synthesized as multi-functional electrocatalytic materials. The nitrogen-doped carbon matrix can contribute to the adsorption of LiPSs on heteroatom active sites with buffering space.

We developed a novel quadratic resampling method for summing up γ-ray spectra with different calibration parameters. We investigated a long-term environmental background γ-ray spectrum by summing up 114 spectra measured using a 30% HPGe detector between 2017 and 2021. Gain variations in different measurement periods shift γ-ray peak positions by a fractional pulse-height bin size up to around 2 keV.

High-resolution nanotransfer printing (nTP) technologies have attracted a tremendous amount of attention due to their excellent patternability, high productivity, and cost-effectiveness. However, there is still a need to develop low-cost mold manufacturing methods, because most nTP techniques generally require the use of patterned molds fabricated by high-cost lithography technology. Here, we introduce a novel nTP strategy that uses imprinted metal molds to serve as an alternative to a Si stamp in the transfer printing process.

Various lithography techniques have been widely used for the fabrication of next-generation device applications. Micro/nanoscale pattern structures formed by lithographic methods significantly improve the performance capabilities of the devices. Here, we introduce a novel method that combines the patterning of nanotransfer printing (nTP) and laser micromachining to fabricate multiscale pattern structures on a wide range of scales.

Nanotransfer printing (nTP) is one of the most promising nanopatterning methods given that it can be used to produce nano-to-micro patterns effectively with functionalities for electronic device applications. However, the nTP process is hindered by several critical obstacles, such as sub-20Â nm mold technology, reliable large-area replication, and uniform transfer-printing of functional materials. Here, for the first time, a dual nanopatterning process is demonstrated that creates periodic sub-20Â nm structures on the eight-inch wafer by the transfer-printing of patterned ultra-thin (<50Â nm) block copolymer (BCP) film onto desired substrates.

Bacterial infection is a major complication associated with bioimplant materials, including titanium (Ti) based orthopedic joints and dental implants. Thus, the fabrication of Ti surfaces with antibacterial activity is highly important. Black phosphorus (BP) is a recently discovered promising two-dimensional semiconductor for various biomedical applications due to its tunable bandgap and physicochemical properties.

To increase the human lifespan, healthcare monitoring devices that diagnose diseases and check body conditions have attracted considerable interest. Commercial AgCl-based wet electrodes with the advantages of high conductivity and strong adaptability to human skin are considered the most frequently used electrode material for healthcare monitoring. However, commercial AgCl-based wet electrodes, when exposed for a long period, cause an evaporation of organic solvents, which could reduce the signal-to-noise ratio of biosignals and stimulate human skin.

Unlike commercial lithium-ion batteries, the high cost and low ionic conductivity of solid electrolytes (SEs) continues to be a big hurdle in commercially available all-solid-state batteries (ASSBs). Rather than the conventional dry-process and high-energy ball milling processes, the productive solution synthesis of bulk-type SEs is the most crucial issue in the successful application of high-energy-density ASSBs. In this study, the way is paved to overcome the hurdle for commercial lithium phosphorus sulfide chloride (LPSCl) SEs via a readily processable bulk-type solution-based synthesis without acquiring any high-energy ball-milling processes.

In this paper, we demonstrated a multiscale micro- and nano-structured magneto-mechano-triboelectric nanogenerator (MMTENG) enabled by a salt particle imprinting process to power an internet of thing (IoT) sensor. The fine salt particles were utilized to form a multiscale structure on a triboelectric polymer film by mechanical pressure via an eco-friendly, low-cost, and simple process, thereby reinforcing the contact triboelectrification and electrostatic induction. The surface modified MMTENG can generate an open-circuit peak-to-peak voltage of 851 V, a short-circuit current of 155 μA, and a maximum peak power of 10.

Various high-performance anode and cathode materials, such as lithium carbonate, lithium titanate, cobalt oxides, silicon, graphite, germanium, and tin, have been widely investigated in an effort to enhance the energy density storage properties of lithium-ion batteries (LIBs). However, the structural manipulation of anode materials to improve the battery performance remains a challenging issue. In LIBs, optimization of the anode material is a key technology affecting not only the power density but also the lifetime of the device.

The present study investigates the geo-morphological features, hydro-biological profiles and resource characteristics of some selected wetlands in Brahmanbaria district, Bangladesh. Two categories of wetland have been classified on the basis of area such as the small category (40-100 ha), which belongs to 11 wetlands and the large category (100-200 ha) to nine wetlands. The mean depth of all the surveyed wetland does not exceed 3.

Sea cucumbers belonging to echinoderm are traditionally used as tonic food in China and other Asian countries. They produce abundant biologically active triterpene glycosides. More than 300 triterpene glycosides have been isolated and characterized from various species of sea cucumbers, which are classified as holostane and nonholostane depending on the presence or absence of a specific structural unit γ(18,20)-lactone in the aglycone.

Metallothionein gene was characterized in Hemibarbus mylodon, an endangered fish species. H. mylodon MT shared a high homology with other vertebrate MTs, including (1) tripartite exon/intron structure, (2) typical regulatory elements such as MREs and GC boxes in the 5'-flanking region, and (3) high proportion of Cysteines (33.
