Evaluation of dysmenorrhea changes in patients undergoing cervical dilatation: Does it work?

Objective: To demonstrate that cervical dilation will relieve symptoms in women with primary dysmenorrhea.

Materials And Methods: In this retrospective cohort study, 30 patients were included in the study group and 30 patients were included in the control group. Age, sex, occupation, education level, duration of dysmenorrhea, and presence of dyspareunia were recorded for all patients.

This study was carried out in a descriptive and cross-sectional design in order to examine the cyberbullying experiences of individuals using social media. This descriptive study was conducted online between June 16, 2022, and August 16, 2022, in Turkey. The data collection process was completed with 471 participants.

Effect of the low-intensity pulsed ultrasound therapy on healing of Achilles tendinopathy in a rat model.

Objective:  This study aimed to investigate the effect of the low-intensity pulsed ultrasound (LIPUS) on the healing of Achilles tendinopathy in a rat model induced by type 1 collagenase.

Methods:  The study was conducted on 144 Achilles tendons of 72 Wistar albino female rats with typical activity and weighing 300-350 g. The model of Achilles tendinopathy was created by injecting type 1 collagenase.

Methods: The study is a descriptive, exploratory and cross-sectional research conducted with patients receiving treatment in the internal admission services of an educational research hospital between January and April 2023. According to sample calculations, it was determined that a minimum of 238 patients needed to be included in the study, and 286 patients who met the inclusion criteria and agreed to participate in the research formed the study sample.

Purpose: This study aimed to investigate preoperative predictors of lymphovascular invasion (LVI), which is a poor prognostic factor usually detected postoperatively in patients with colorectal cancer.

Methods: Results for all patients operated on for colorectal cancer between January 1, 2006, and December 31, 2021, were retrospectively analyzed. Potential preoperative factors and postoperative pathology results were recorded.

Is polycystic ovary syndrome a risk factor for depression and anxiety?: a cross-sectional study.

Objectives: Tubo-ovarian abscess (TOA) is inflammation of the pelvic organs, mainly originating from the lower genital tract and intestinal tract. Treatment options include antibiotic therapy, surgical drainage, and radiologically guided (interventional) drainage. In our study, we aimed to evaluate the treatment method to be chosen and thus to manage patients with tuba ovarian abscesses (TOAs) most accurately.

Reporting of biochemical blood values in COVID-19 patients: A retrospective study.

Background: This study aimed to investigate the impact of biochemical blood parameters on the progression of coronavirus disease (COVID-19). This retrospective study analyzed the clinical characteristics and biochemical test parameters of 352 COVID-19 patients treated at Malatya Training and Research Hospital in Turkey between March 3, 2021, and February 28, 2022.

Methods: The methodological approach of our study included specific analyses and examinations to assess the effect of biochemical blood values on disease progression in COVID-19 patients.

Does the severity of diabetic ketoacidosis in children with type 1 diabetes change during the COVID-19 pandemic? A single-center experience from a pediatric intensive care unit.
