Background: Peste des petits ruminants (PPR) is a disease with high morbidity and mortality in small ruminants. A clinical report of this disease in camels has been made in Iran; however, no accurate information is available about infection with this virus in the camel population of Iran.

Objectives: This study was designed and conducted to detect any trace of seroconversion in dromedary camels in Iran.

Clinicopathological, Histopathological, and Immunohistochemical Analysis of Mandibular Fibrosarcoma in a DSH Cat: A Case Report.

Clinical endometritis (CE) is common in post-partum dairy cows and is associated with impaired reproductive performance. The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of subclinical endometritis (SE) in cows clinically cured of CE on their fertility. The study was performed on 215 Holstein Friesian cows with CE diagnosed by vaginoscopy and ultrasound between 21 and 28 days after parturition.

Clinical findings and outcome in feline tetanus: a multicentric retrospective study of 27 cases and review of the literature.

Tetanus is a toxigenic illness caused by the action of neurotoxin (TeNT), which results in partial or generalized muscle stiffness in infected mammals and birds. The disease is rarely reported in cats due to their innate resistance to the toxin. This multicentric retrospective study aimed to describe a significant population of cats with a diagnosis of tetanus and report their signalment, clinical and neurological signs, diagnostic findings, treatment, and outcome.

First detection of Koi herpesvirus disease (KHVD) in Garmian, Kurdistan region of Iraq: A clinical and molecular study.

Based on the interdisciplinary concept of One Health, EcoHealth, and Planetary Health, this paper focuses on participatory knowledge-to-action approaches by relating one decade of environmental disasters in Brazil with the action of veterinary rescue teams, aiming to give support to future disaster preparedness. This paper will present the historic actions of teams rescuing animal that are victims of environmental disasters, in addition to addressing the need for contingency plans and response management in these types of events. The main events in Brazilian states where veterinary rescue teams participated were, chronologically, as follows: 2011 flood and landslide (Rio de Janeiro); 2012 flood (Acre, Minas Gerais, and Pará); 2015 dam break (Minas Gerais); 2017 flood (Minas Gerais) and forest fire (Minas Gerais and Goiás); 2019 dam break and evacuation (Minas Gerais) and flood (Bahia); 2020 flood (Espírito Santo and Minas Gerais) and forest fires (Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul).

Fatal infection with emerging apicomplexan parasite Hepatozoon silvestris in a domestic cat.

Background: Hepatozoon silvestris is an emerging apicomplexan parasite discovered in European wild cats from Bosnia and Herzegovina and blood samples of a domestic cat from Southern Italy in 2017. It has also been identified in Ixodes ricinus collected from a domestic cat in Wales, UK, in 2018. The clinical relevance, pathogenesis and epidemiology of this novel Hepatozoon species are not yet understood.
