This study aimed to evaluate the comparative efficacy of Myo-inositol (MI) and D-chiro-inositol (DCI) with metformin in enhancing ovarian function, promoting ovulation, and reducing perceived stress in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Women with PCOS were identified using the Androgen Excess Society's criteria, and 60 participants were enrolled and divided equally into two groups. One group received a 40:1 ratio of MI plus DCI, while the other received metformin for a 12-week period.

Introduction: Lipopolysaccharide (LPS), a constituent of the outer membrane of Gram-negative bacteria, is a powerful inducer of systemic inflammation and has been extensively utilized in experimental models to simulate inflammatory responses and septic disorders. Recent research indicates that oxytocin (OXY), a neuropeptide typically linked to social bonding and reproductive functions, may influence inflammatory processes. This work examines the impact of OXY on LPS-induced testicular damage, aiming to elucidate its therapeutic potential in addressing inflammatory disorders and broadening the comprehension of its functions beyond conventional neuroendocrine roles.

Introduction: Datura stramonium (DS) possesses strong medicinal and therapeutic potential but has been rarely evaluated in this context.
Methods: The present study was intended to evaluate the antioxidant, hepatoprotective, and nephroprotective potential of the crude methanolic leaf extract and ethyl acetate, chloroform, n-hexane, and aqueous fractions of DS in paracetamol-intoxicated rabbits. Paracetamol (2 g/Kg BW) was applied to induce liver and kidney injury in rabbits while the methanolic extract and fractions of DS were applied in the dose range of 150 mg/Kg to 300 mg/Kg body weight for 21 days.

Previous studies have overlooked organisational inequalities and their influence on employee task performance. Anchored in equity theory, we address this gap by examining how promotion and compensation inequalities relate to employee task performance. Further, this study examines the myth of meritocracy as an underlying mechanism and overall perceived distributive justice as a boundary condition.

Introduction: Androgenetic alopecia (AGA) is a multifactorial and age-related dermatological disease that affects both males and females, usually at older ages. Traditional hair repair drugs exemplified by minoxidil have limitations such as skin irritation and hypertrichosis. Thus, attention has been shifted to the use of repurposing drugs.

Background: While the benefits of decent work-employment that respects fundamental human rights, ensures fair income, guarantees workplace security, and provides social protection for families-have recently gained scholarly attention regarding job satisfaction, psychological empowerment, and work engagement, its potential to enhance nurses' work ability-defined as the ability to carry out job responsibilities-remains unaddressed. Furthermore, a gap exists in understanding the mechanisms through which decent work influences its outcomes.
Purpose: We aimed to investigate: (1) if securing decent work is associated with elevated nurses' work ability, and (2) if perceived insider status and psychological well-being mediate the association between decent work and nurses' work ability.
