Background: About 10-15% of all breast cancers comprise triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), defined as cancer cells that lack receptors for the ER, PR, and HER2 protein receptors. Due to the absence of these receptors, treating TNBC using conventional chemotherapy is challenging and, therefore, requires the discovery of novel chemotherapeutic agents derived from natural sources.
Objective: The current work was intended to study the potential phytochemicals of Ajwa dates (Phoenix dactylifera L.

Unlabelled: (), a common human gut bacterium, is generally harmless but capable of causing infections and contributing to diseases like urinary tract infections, sepsis/meningitis, or diarrheal diseases. Notably, is implicated in developing gallbladder cancer (GBC) either through ascending infection from the gastrointestinal tract or via hematogenous spread. Certain strains are known to produce toxins, such as cytolethal distending toxins (CDTs), that directly contribute to the genetic mutations and cellular abnormalities observed in GBC.

Owing to the recent emergence of COVID-19, there is a lack of published research and clinical recommendations for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) risk factors in patients who contracted or received treatment for the virus. This research aims to identify potential molecular targets to inform therapeutic strategies for this patient population. RNA sequence data for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) and PTSD (from the National Center for Biotechnology Information [NCBI]) were processed using the GREIN database.

The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has had a significant impact globally, resulting in a higher death toll and persistent health issues for survivors, particularly those with pre-existing medical conditions. Numerous studies have demonstrated a strong correlation between catastrophic COVID-19 results and diabetes. To gain deeper insights, we analysed the transcriptome dataset from COVID-19 and diabetic peripheral neuropathic patients.

The escalating global temperatures associated with climate change are detrimental to plant growth and development, leading to significant reductions in crop yields worldwide. Our research demonstrates that salicylic acid (SA), a phytohormone known for its growth-promoting properties, is crucial in enhancing heat tolerance in cotton (). This enhancement is achieved through modifications in various biochemical, physiological, and growth parameters.

Isorhamnetin (CHO), a 3'-O-methylated derivative of quercetin from the class of flavonoids, is predominantly present in the leaves and fruits of several plants, many of which have traditionally been employed as remedies due to its diverse therapeutic activities. The objective of this in-depth analysis is to concentrate on Isorhamnetin by addressing its molecular insights as an effective anticancer compound and its synergistic activity with other anticancer drugs. The main contributors to Isorhamnetin's anti-malignant activities at the molecular level have been identified as alterations of a variety of signal transduction processes and transcriptional agents.

Background: N-ras protein is encoded by the NRAS gene and operates as GDP-GTP-controlled on/off switching. N-ras interacts with cellular signaling networks that regulate various cellular activities including cell proliferation and survival. The nonsynonymous single nucleotide polymorphism (nsSNPs)-mediated alteration can substantially disrupt the structure and activity of the corresponding protein.

Background: Pancreatic cancer (PC) stands out as one of the most formidable malignancies and exhibits an exceptionally unfavorable clinical prognosis due to the absence of well-defined diagnostic indicators and its tendency to develop resistance to therapeutic interventions. The primary objective of this present study was to identify extracellular matrix (ECM)-related hub genes (HGs) and their corresponding molecular signatures, with the intent of potentially utilizing them as biomarkers for diagnostic, prognostic, and therapeutic applications.
Methods: Three microarray datasets were sourced from the NCBI database to acquire upregulated differentially expressed genes (DEGs), while MatrisomeDB was employed for filtering ECM-related genes.

Purpose: Ultraviolet radiation causes skin cancer, but the exact mechanism by which it occurs and the most effective methods of intervention to prevent it are yet unknown. For this purpose, our study will use bioinformatics and systems biology approaches to discover potential biomarkers of skin cancer for early diagnosis and prevention of disease with applicable clinical treatments.
Methods: This study compared gene expression and protein levels in ultraviolet-mediated cultured keratinocytes and adjacent normal skin tissue using RNA sequencing data from the National Center for Biotechnology Information-Gene Expression Omnibus (NCBI-GEO) database.
