This research provides information about combinations of several amino acids, including l-proline (Pro), l-arginine (Arg), and l-histidine (His), with phenoxyacetic acid herbicides (MCPA and 2,4-D). Five amino acid ionic liquids (AAILs), one amino acid higher-melting salt (AAHMS), and two amino acid liquid cocrystals (AALCs) were obtained in high yields (>90%). The paper presents the possibility of recovering metals from printed circuit boards (PCBs) of spent mobile phones using the hydrometallurgical method. In this study, polyurethane/polyurea coatings were exposed to four different types of aging: aging in the natural environment (NC), accelerated ultraviolet aging (UV), aging in a sodium chloride solution (NaCl), and thermal aging (TC). To monitor the changes that occurred during these processes, the thickness was measured and microscopic and macroscopic observations were conducted continuously. The samples aged under various conditions were then subjected to spectroscopic (FTIR) and thermal (TGA) analysis to determine the possible structural changes in the coatings.

The impact of pH, temperature, and metal ions on the rheological and interfacial properties of aqueous mixed surfactant solutions composed of anionic NaC (sodium cholate) and nonionic BrijL4 [polyoxyethylene (4) lauryl ether] surfactants has been investigated. The various compound systems were analyzed, considering variations in each selected factor. The results highlight the unique characteristics of the BrijL4/NaC mixture, suggesting its potential as a viable alternative to other existing surfactants.

Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) regulates the development, growth, pubertal maturation and reproductive processes of the human body. The determination of serous FSH concentration is significant as an alternative to testicular biopsy in the case of boys suffering from cryptorchidism after orchidopexy, and as a means of determining the menopausal stage in women.
