Objective: To understand alignment of pharmacist jobs' daily tasks, employer-advertised skills, and pharmacy education of entrustable professional activities (EPAs).

Methods: The study team compiled the top 20 tasks pharmacists reported performing at least daily from the Occupational Information Network survey (2022), the top 50 employer-advertised skills from 89,819 pharmacist job postings in 2022 from Lightcast and the 13 EPAs from accreditation standards that define a practice-ready pharmacist. Two experienced faculty and licensed pharmacists mapped employer-advertised skills, each task performed at least daily, and the EPAs.

Background: Hepatitis E virus (HEV) causes acute jaundice and poses an important public health problem in low- and middle-income countries. Limited surveillance capacity and suboptimal access to diagnostics leads to under-reporting of HEV infections in affected countries, including Nepal. Serum antibodies against HEV are indicative of past infection.

User experience and perceived usability of nurse-led telemonitoring among women with gestational diabetes in Dhulikhel, Nepal.

Objective: To assess the usability and acceptability of nurse-led telemonitoring in managing gestational diabetes among Nepalese women.

Methods: We conducted a convergent mixed-method study among 91 pregnant women diagnosed with gestational diabetes at Dhulikhel Hospital, Nepal. Participants received glucometers and blood pressure monitors, along with training and instructions to measure and record their blood pressure and glucose levels at home once a week.

Introduction: Cancer is the primary cause of death globally, and despite the significant advancements in treatment and survival rates, it is still stigmatized in many parts of the world. However, there is limited public health research on cancer stigma among the general female population in Nepal. Therefore, this study aims to determine the prevalence of cancer stigma and its associated factors in this group.

Introduction And Importance: Transverse testicular ectopia (TTE) is a rare congenital anomaly in which both testes descend into the same inguinal canal and are located in the same hemiscrotum. Diagnosing TTE can be challenging due to its rarity and unusual presentation.

Case Presentation: The authors present a case of a male in his 50s who was diagnosed with left transverse testicular ectopia after presenting with an empty right hemiscrotum and two testes-like masses in the left hemiscrotum.

Comprehensive training in POCUS is a mandatory part of EM training in developed countries. In Nepal, we need to build an educational curriculum based on the local medical system, available resources, and educational environment.

Objective: To determine and compare the incidence rate (IR) of anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACL-R) among higher-level athletes across six sports in the Swedish National Knee Ligament Registry (SNKLR).

Methods: Patient data from the SNKLR, between 2005 and 2020, was linked to team and event data of six sports (football, handball, basketball, ice hockey, floorball and alpine sports) to identify higher-level athletes aged 15-40 with ACL-R. Unadjusted and adjusted IR ratios (IRRs) with 99% CIs were calculated between sports, sex, age and divisions.

With over a million amputations performed annually, it has also emerged as one of the primary causes of lower limb amputation globally. To better understand the severity and anatomical distribution of ulcerated areas in patients with type II diabetes mellitus, this study aimed to identify the factors associated with diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs).

Perspectives of patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes on barriers to diabetes care: a qualitative study.

Background: Diabetes care incorporates multiple integrated elements like self-care practices, patient education and awareness, societal support, equitable access to healthcare facilities and trained healthcare professionals, commitment from the diabetes associations and government policies. Binaural beats (BB) stimulation, particularly gamma band entrainment, has been suggested to enhance neural communication, cognition, and reduce anxiety. This study aimed to determine whether 40 Hz BB could improve cognitive performance and mood in medical students.
