Temporal Lobe Epilepsy (TLE) is a severe neurological condition characterized by recurrent seizures that often do not respond well to available anti-seizure medications. TLE has been associated with epileptogenesis, a process that starts during the latent period following a neurologic insult and is followed by chronic phase. Recent research has linked canonical Wnt signaling to the pathophysiology of epileptogenesis and TLE.

Purpose: Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the most commonly diagnosed cancers in the world. Early detection would be greatly enhanced if accurate and cost-effective diagnostic biomarkers for CRC were accessible. The development of blood tests would evidently lower the screening cost of CRC detection.

Background: The clinical manifestation of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is linked to the disruption of fundamental neurodevelopmental pathways. Emerging evidences claim to have an upregulation of canonical Wnt/β-catenin pathway while downregulation of PPARγ pathway in ASD. This study aims to investigate the therapeutic potential of pioglitazone, a PPARγ agonist, in rat model of ASD.

Survival analysis is employed to scrutinize time-to-event data, with emphasis on comprehending the duration until the occurrence of a specific event. In this article, we introduce two novel survival prediction models: CosAttnSurv and CosAttnSurv DyACT. CosAttnSurv model leverages transformer-based architecture and a softmax-free kernel attention mechanism for survival prediction.

Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (DFSP) is an aggressive tumour with multiple local recurrences and rare metastatic potential. Fibrosarcomatous transformation occurs in a few cases of DFSP which makes them more aggressive in terms of recurrence and metastasis. Here we report the case of a woman in her late 30s who presented with massive lower gastrointestinal (GI) bleeding with a history of multiple surgeries for DFSP on her anterior abdominal wall.

Introduction: To evaluate the efficacy, safety, pharmacokinetics (PK), and immunogenicity of ZRC-3277 (pertuzumab biosimilar) with Perjeta® (pertuzumab) in previously untreated patients with human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-positive metastatic breast cancer (MBC).
Patients And Methods: This phase III, multicenter, double-blind study across 38 sites in India randomized (1:1) patients with HER2-positive MBC in either the ZRC-3277 or Perjeta® group. Both groups also received trastuzumab and docetaxel.

() is a gram-negative bacterial pathogen that poses a significant clinical and epidemiologic challenge. The selection pressure brought by the insufficient use of antibiotics has resulted in the emergence of multi-drug-resistant in the past ten years. Computational and bioinformatics methods for screening inhibitors have significantly contributed to discovering novel antibacterial agents.

Local recurrence post-surgery in early-stage triple-negative breast cancer is a major challenge. To control the regrowth of a residual tumor, we have developed an autologous therapeutic hybrid fibrin glue for intra-operative implantation. Using autologous serum proteins as stabilizers, we have optimized high drug-loaded lapatinib-NanoSera (Lap-NS; ∼66% L.

Iron-refractory iron deficiency anaemia (IRIDA) is a rare autosomal recessive disorder, distinguished by hypochromic microcytic anaemia, low transferrin levels and inappropriately elevated hepcidin (HEPC) levels. It is caused by mutations in TMPRSS6 gene. Systematic screening of 500 pregnant women with iron deficiency anaemia having moderate to severe microcytosis with no other causes of anaemia were enrolled to rule out oral iron refractoriness.

The ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 (COVISHIELD) vaccine has emerged as a pivotal tool in the global fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. In our previous study eligible subjects were supplemented with calcifediol, a direct precursor to the biologically active form of vitamin D, calcitriol with an objective to enhance the immunogenicity of the COVISHIELD vaccine. Herein we investigated the effects of calcifediol supplementation on gene expression profiles in individuals who received the COVISHIELD vaccine.

Background: Canagliflozin and metformin fixed-dose combination (CANA/MET FDC), an approved treatment for type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) in India, effectively lowers glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c), promotes weight loss, and improves patient adherence. As a regulatory requirement, we aimed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of CANA/MET FDC in Indian patients with T2DM.
Research Design And Methods: This prospective, multicenter, open-label, single-arm, phase IV study included Indian patients with T2DM (aged 18-65 years) inadequately controlled on diet and exercise.
