Article Synopsis
  • - The study aimed to compare designing effects (DE) across six different complex sampling design programs, using data from the 2002 Chinese Nutrition and Health Survey as a case study.
  • - Statistical simulations were employed to estimate DE values, revealing that these values differ significantly among the various sampling programs.
  • - It was determined that DE values positively correlated with larger sample sizes and more sampling stages, while reducing sample stages and refining stratified categories can lower DE values, enhancing the overall effectiveness of the sampling design.
