The COVID-19 epidemic that started in November in China became a national epidemic from March 16, 2020 with the declaration of population containment in order to reduce the spread of the virus in France. From March 17 to March 27, 2020, the monitoring unit of the French society of geriatrics and gerontology decided to conduct a survey to analyze the implementation of the mobilization of geriatric units, given that this epidemic had shown that it resulted in excess mortality mainly among the elderly. The survey was able to bring together the response of 34 services, nine of which were located in a high epidemic cluster zone.

Background: The aim of this study was to determine the level of adherence to oral anticoagulants in the population of elderly patients treated for a non-valvular atrial fibrillation (AF) in the era of direct oral anticoagulants.
Patients And Method: This transversal study used Morisky scale to assess adherence to oral anticoagulants. We also collected patients' reviews about the treatment and factors explaining a poor adherence.

Mobility impairment, which precedes loss of autonomy, could yet be accessible to multi-modal and personalised programs to enhance balance and physical performances, and avoid loss of autonomy. The ageing is accompanied by a progressive decline in physical activity, a social vulnerability and an increase in the prevalence of the chronic diseases. The comorbidity brings a description which modifies the repercussion of the usual processes of the ageing in term of vital and functional prognosis. The comorbidities must be integrated into the comprehensive geriatric assessment as well as the other aspects like cognition or the nutrition.

Current demographic trends and medical practices raise the question of cancer screening in the elderly, especially those with dementia. Background: Most of the elderly have vitamin D deficiency, which is defined as a serum level below 30 ng/mL.
Objectives: To identify the characteristics of patients over 65 receiving vitamin D supplements by their primary care physician. A descriptive and transverse study was performed on patients over 65 years old admitted to Care Following at the La Croix Rouge in Nantes from September 2012 to February 2013.
