Objective: Describe the clinical-surgical results of patients with PAS in the low-posterior cervical-trigonal space associated with fibrosis (PAS type 4) compared with PAS types in other locations (Types 1, upper bladder, 2 in upper parametrium) and in particular with PAS type 3, corresponding to dissectible cervical-trigonal invasion. The clinical-surgical results of using a standard hysterectomy were analyzed with a modified subtotal hysterectomy (MSTH) in patients with PAS type 4.
Material And Methods: A descriptive, retrospective, multicenter study included 337 patients of PAS; thirty-two corresponding to PAS type 4, from three PAS reference hospitals, CEMIC, Buenos Aires, Argentina, Fundación Valle de Lili, Cali, Colombia, and Dr.

Objective: To demonstrate the surgical and morbidity differences between upper and lower parametrial placenta invasion (PPI).
Materials And Methods: Forty patients with placenta accreta spectrum (PAS) into the parametrium underwent surgery between 2015 and 2020. Based on the peritoneal reflection, the study compared two types of parametrial placental invasion (PPI), upper or lower.

Objective: To analyze how precise the surgical staging is after prenatal diagnosis of patients with placenta accreta spectrum (PAS).
Material And Methods: This was a retrospective cohort study that included 622 women diagnosed with placenta accreta spectrum who underwent surgery between 1 January 2000, and 1 January 2020, in public, private, and university hospitals in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Prenatal diagnosis included abdominal and transvaginal ultrasounds and T2-weighted MRI scans.

Indirect effects of the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) pandemic are difficult to calculate. Fear of intrahospital infection has led to a decrease in the use of emergency services and the performance of elective procedures. Several low- and middle-income countries have seen the number of institutional deliveries reduced, even in the absence of a follow-up program for home births.

Background: The concern about massive haemorrhage associated with placenta accreta spectrum (PAS) prompts the routine use of general anaesthesia (GA) at many centres. We aimed to describe the effects of establishing a fixed multidisciplinary team (PAS team) on anaesthetic practices and clinical results.
Methods: In this before-and-after study, we included patients with prenatal PAS suspicion treated between December 2011 and December 2019.

Introduction: The effectiveness of resuscitative endovascular balloon occlusion of the aorta (REBOA) in controlling pelvic bleeding has been reported with increasing frequency during surgical management of placenta accreta spectrum (PAS). The deployment of REBOA may lead to significant variations in vital signs requiring special care by anesthesiology during surgery. These modifications of blood pressure by REBOA in PAS patients have not been accurately documented.

Introduction: The main complication of placenta accreta spectrum (PAS) is massive bleeding. Endoarterial occlusion techniques have been incorporated into the management of this pathology. Our aim was to examine the endovascular practice patterns among PAS patients treated during a 9-year period in a low-middle income country in which an interdisciplinary group's technical skills were improved with the creation of a PAS team.

Introduction: Placenta accreta spectrum (PAS) disorder is a serious condition that frequently requires special care in specialized centers. Migrant pregnant women face economic and social disadvantages that place them in situations of pervasive health disparities and, thus, poorer pregnancy outcomes can be expected.
Purpose: Describe the care of migrants without health insurance, affected by PAS and treated in a reference center for PAS.

Objective: Placenta accreta spectrum (PAS) often causes severe morbidity and demands the availability of abundant health resources. Research has shown that the participation of experienced interdisciplinary groups in specialized centers improves clinical outcomes. Our objective is to measure resource use variation after implementing an interdisciplinary management program for this condition.
