Background: Several techniques have been described in liver hydatid disease surgery, with most well known partial cystectomy, capitonage and introflexion.
Methods: We present a technical modification on open partial cystectomy for liver hydatid disease. We performed this operation in 2 patients with liver echinococcosis.
