Article Synopsis
  • The study examined the occurrence of luxation injuries and related dental fractures in patients treated at a Brazilian dental school clinic from 2012 to 2022.
  • Data were collected from 366 clinical records, highlighting that men were more likely to experience luxation injuries than women, with extrusive luxation being the most common type.
  • Results indicated that patients with luxation injuries sought care more quickly and had a higher likelihood of needing endodontic treatment, particularly for injuries resulting from traffic accidents, though luxation combined with fractures did not increase treatment needs.
