Periprosthetic acetabular fractures are a major challenge in orthopedics. Proper recognition of these complex cases helps to identify and treat patients with different presentations. These fractures can occur intraoperatively and be treated immediately, or they can occur postoperatively, following trauma or in the context of chronic low bone quality or associated implant loosening.

Objectives: Tropheryma whipplei infection can manifest as inflammatory joint symptoms, which can lead to misdiagnosis of inflammatory rheumatic disease and the use of disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs. We investigated the impact of diagnosis and treatment of Tropheryma whipplei infection in patients with inflammatory rheumatic disease.
Methods: We initiated a registry including patients with disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs-treated inflammatory rheumatic disease who were subsequently diagnosed with Tropheryma whipplei infection.

Objective: We assess the clinical and structural impact at two years of progressively spacing tocilizumab (TCZ) or abatacept (ABA) injections versus maintenance at full dose in patients with rheumatoid arthritis in sustained remission.
Methods: This multicenter open-label noninferiority (NI) randomized clinical trial included patients with established rheumatoid arthritis in sustained remission receiving ABA or TCZ at a stable dose. Patients were randomized to treatment maintenance (M) at full dose (M-arm) or progressive injection spacing (S) driven by the Disease Activity Score in 28 joints every 3 months up to biologics discontinuation (S-arm).

Purpose: Modular stems in revision total hip arthroplasties allow diaphyseal fixation and optimal restoration of the architecture of the proximal femur. Several studies report metaphyseal implant breakage having a negative impact on survivorship. The aim of the study was to evaluate the outcome of an uncemented modular fluted tapered stem (MFT) in revision surgery.

Purpose: Lymph node involvement in cancer of the uterine cervix is a major independent prognostic factor for overall survival. The aim of our study was to examine the lymphatic drainage regions of the different parts of the uterine cervix.
Methods: An anatomical study of fresh cadavers was conducted by injecting patent blue in the anterior or posterior lip of the uterine cervix and dissecting drainage regions.

Background: The vacuoles, E1 enzyme, X-linked, autoinflammatory, somatic (VEXAS) syndrome is a newly identified autoinflammatory disorder related to somatic UBA1 mutations. Up to 72% of patients may show lung involvement.
Research Question: What are the pleuropulmonary manifestations in VEXAS syndrome?
Study Design And Methods: One hundred fourteen patients were included in the French cohort of VEXAS syndrome between November 2020 and May 2021.

Facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD) is an autosomal dominant disorder characterized by progressive muscle weakness. Adenine nucleotide translocator 1 (ANT1), the only 4q35 gene involved in mitochondrial function, is strongly expressed in FSHD skeletal muscle biopsies. However, its role in FSHD is unclear.

Purpose: Despite encouraging clinical, biomechanical and histological results, ACL reconstruction using the ITB was slowly abandoned. The hypothesis was that the current literature supports the use of ITB as the graft of choice for ACL reconstruction because of its good outcomes.
Methods: A systematic search of the literature was performed in the PubMed, MEDLINE, Cochrane, and Ovid databases to identify published clinical studies relevant to ACL reconstruction with ITB autograft and studies comparing ITB autograft with bone-patellar tendon-bone (BPTB) and hamstring (HT) autografts (none were found).

Background: Some authors have suggested that the semimembranosus tendon is involved in the pathophysiology of ramp lesions. This led us to conduct a gross and microscopic analysis of the posterior horn of the medial meniscus and the structures inserted on it.
Hypothesis: (1) The semimembranosus tendon has a tendinous branch inserting into the posterior horn of the medial meniscus, and (2) the meniscotibial ligament is inserted on the posteroinferior edge of the medial meniscus.

Purpose: Some researchers have suggested that bone bruises are evidence of rotational instability. The hypothesis was that the extent of lateral bone edema is correlated with the presence of an anterolateral ligament (ALL) injury. The main objective was to determine whether there was a correlation between the presence of an ALL injury the extent of bone bruises.

Purpose: Comparing scar cosmesis and regional hypoesthesia at the incision site between quadriceps tendon (QT), bone-patellar tendon-bone (BPTB), and hamstring tendon (HT) for anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction.
Methods: Ninety patients undergoing ACL reconstruction with QT, HT or BPTB were evaluated at 1-year post-op. Scar cosmesis was assessed using the patient and observer scar assessment scale (POSAS) and length of the incision.

Introduction: Papilledema is a common sign in ophthalmology and is typically associated with increased intracranial pressure (ICP) in neurological diseases. Since the beginning of the 20th century, some cases of papilledema have been reported in association with acute or chronic inflammatory neuropathies.
Case Report: We describe a 42-year-old man with acute-onset inflammatory polyradiculoneuropathy and bilateral papilledema.
