Background: Although men have a higher rate of stroke than women, it is not clear whether women have a worse outcome after adjusting for confounders such as vascular risk factors, age, stroke severity, and reperfusion therapy. We evaluated sex differences on 90-day functional outcomes after stroke in a multicenter study in Vietnam.

Methods: We recruited patients presenting with ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke at 10 stroke centers in Vietnam for a period of 1 month from 1 August 2022 to 31 August 2022.

Computer-aided diagnosis systems in adult chest radiography (CXR) have recently achieved great success thanks to the availability of large-scale, annotated datasets and the advent of high-performance supervised learning algorithms. However, the development of diagnostic models for detecting and diagnosing pediatric diseases in CXR scans is undertaken due to the lack of high-quality physician-annotated datasets. To overcome this challenge, we introduce and release PediCXR, a new pediatric CXR dataset of 9,125 studies retrospectively collected from a major pediatric hospital in Vietnam between 2020 and 2021.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to characterize the population-based pharmacokinetic (POP-PK) profile of imipenem in Vietnamese adult patients and to assess the probability of target attainment (PTA) of the pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) parameter to determine the optimal dose.

Patients And Methods: A POP-PK model of imipenem was developed in patients with severe infection from a 1500-bed general hospital in Vietnam, using MONOLIX 2019. After the initial dose infusion, 6 blood samples per patient were collected to measure plasma imipenem levels.

Background: The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate a mechanism for deploying and validating an AI-based system for detecting abnormalities on chest X-ray scans at the Phu Tho General Hospital, Vietnam. We aim to investigate the performance of the system in real-world clinical settings and compare its effectiveness to the in-lab performance.

Method: The AI system was directly integrated into the Hospital's Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) after being trained on a fixed annotated dataset from other sources.

Background: Postherpetic neuralgia (PHN) is the most common and bearable complication of herpes zoster (HZ). This pain may have negative impact on the patient's all aspects of daily life and health-related quality of life (HRQOL). Despite numerous advances in treatment, many patients remain resistant to the current therapy options.
