Neural Changes after Vision Therapy in Convergence Insufficiency: A Systematic Review.

Objective: To investigate if the use of vision therapy (VT) in convergence insufficiency (CI) has a significant neural impact and how it correlates with the clinical changes occurring with this option of treatment.

Methods: A systematic review of the scientific literature was carried out in the PubMed and Scopus databases, where all the scientific literature on the neural impact of VT in CI was analyzed. A total of 17 articles were initially found and a detailed analysis was carried out.

Validation of a scale to assess adherence to oral chemotherapy based on the experiences of patients and healthcare professionals (EXPAD-ANEO).

Lack of adherence to Oral antineoplastic agents (OAAs) treatment has important clinical, social and economic consequences. To develop and validate a novel instrument for assessing adherence to OAAs, based on the reported experiences of people with cancer in relation to their treatment and the opinions of the healthcare professionals who care for them. We performed a multicenter validation study of a scale designed to assess adherence to OAAs.

Deleterious Effect of NMDA Plus Kainate on the Inner Retinal Cells and Ganglion Cell Projection of the Mouse.

Combined administration of N-Methyl-D-Aspartate (NMDA) and kainic acid (KA) on the inner retina was studied as a model of excitotoxicity. The right eye of C57BL6J mice was injected with 1 µL of PBS containing NMDA 30 mM and KA 10 mM. Only PBS was injected in the left eye.
