Purpose: This study aimed to determine the occurrence rate of gestational trophoblastic neoplasia (GTN) and its related factors in aged women with hydatidiform mole (HM) in Tu Du Hospital, Vietnam.

Materials And Methods: This retrospective cohort study included 372 women aged ≥40 years with HM diagnosed through post-abortion histopathological assessment in Tu Du Hospital from January 2016 to March 2019. Survival analysis was used for GTN cumulative rate estimation, log-rank test for group comparison, and Cox regression model for determining GTN-related factors.

Disease pathogenesis, a type of domain knowledge about biological mechanisms leading to diseases, has not been adequately encoded in machine-learning-based medical diagnostic models because of the inter-patient variabilities and complex dependencies of the underlying pathogenetic mechanisms. We propose 1) a novel pathogenesis probabilistic graphical model (PPGM) to quantify the dynamics underpinning patient-specific data and pathogenetic domain knowledge, 2) a Bayesian-based inference paradigm to answer the medical queries and forecast acute onsets. The PPGM model consists of two components: a Bayesian network of patient attributes and a temporal model of pathogenetic mechanisms.

Objective(s): To compare psychomotor development during 5 months to 30 months of age among children who were conceived via ICSI in-vitro fertilization to those conceived naturally.

Study Design: Prospective cohort study was conducted during 2017-2018 with children visiting Tu Du Hospital for scheduled health checks. We randomly recruited 935 five-to-thirty-month-old children and distributed them into two groups for comparison: a group of 426 ICSI/IVF children and a group of 509 Naturally Conceived (NC) children.

Background: The Ho-Chi-Minh-city Heart Institute in Vietnam took part in the Optimize Heart Failure (OHF) Care Program, designed to improve outcomes following heart failure (HF) hospitalization by increasing patient awareness and optimizing HF treatment.

Methods: HF patients hospitalized with left ventricular ejection-fraction (LVEF) <50% were included. Patients received guideline-recommended HF treatment and education.
