Background: Serum neuritin and neuron-specific enolase (NSE) have predictive value for the prognosis of patients with combined traumatic brain injury (TBI) and spinal cord injury (SCI). Studying their predictive effects has positive value for disease control and treatment.
Methods: Sixty patients with combined TBI and SCI were recruited and rolled into three groups according to prognosis: Group I (n=42, favourable prognosis), Group II (n=11, poor prognosis), and Group III (n=7, death).

Methods: A retrospective analysis of HCC patients' initial TACE from February 2015 to October 2022 across three centers and a clinical trial (NCT03113955) was conducted. The viability of residual HCCs at one and six months after TACE was evaluated using the LI-RADS Treatment Response Algorithm (LR-TRA) v2024.

To investigate the predictive value of T2 star-weighted angiography (SWAN) combined with 3-dimensional (3D) arterial spin labeling (3D-ASL) to assess cerebral perfusion status and clinical prognosis in chronic unilateral middle cerebral artery (MCA) M1 occlusion. This study included 55 patients diagnosed with chronic unilateral MCA M1 occlusion using 3D time-of-flight magnetic resonance angiography between January 2018 and July 2022. Based on the prominent vessel sign (PVS) shown in the SWAN sequence, the patients were divided into PVS-positive (n = 26) and PVS-negative (n = 29) groups.

Exposure to sevoflurane leads to serious neurological side effects, including neuronal apoptosis and cognitive impairment. In the mouse model, cyclin dependent kinase 9 (CDK9) was significantly downregulated after exposure to sevoflurane, but the effect of CDK9 on neuronal apoptosis and cognitive impairment after sevoflurane exposure has not been elucidated. Here, we found that the upregulation of P300 by sevoflurane in vitro and in vivo inhibited the expression of CDK9 and induced neuron apoptosis.
