Department of Radiology, Zhongda Hospital, Nurturing Center of Jiangsu Province for State Laboratory of AI Imaging & Interventional Radiology, School of Medicine, Southeast University, Nanjing 210009, China.

LI-RADS Treatment Response Algorithm (TRA) version 2024 (v2024) introduced separate algorithms for detecting hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) viability after radiation and nonradiation locoregional therapies (LRT). The nonradiation algorithm incorporated MRI-based ancillary features to optionally upgrade lesions from LR-TR Equivocal to LR-TR Viable. To compare the diagnostic performance of LI-RADS Nonradiation TRA v2024 with LI-RADS TRA version 2017 (v2017) and modified RECIST (mRECIST) for evaluating HCC response to LRT on MRI, with attention to the impact of ancillary features.

To investigate the predictive value of T2 star-weighted angiography (SWAN) combined with 3-dimensional (3D) arterial spin labeling (3D-ASL) to assess cerebral perfusion status and clinical prognosis in chronic unilateral middle cerebral artery (MCA) M1 occlusion. This study included 55 patients diagnosed with chronic unilateral MCA M1 occlusion using 3D time-of-flight magnetic resonance angiography between January 2018 and July 2022. Based on the prominent vessel sign (PVS) shown in the SWAN sequence, the patients were divided into PVS-positive (n = 26) and PVS-negative (n = 29) groups.

Sevoflurane-induced P300 promotes neuron apoptosis via Sp1/CDK9 pathway.

Clin Exp Pharmacol Physiol

July 2023

Department of Anesthesiology, People's Hospital of Xuyi County, Xuyi, Jiangsu, China.

Exposure to sevoflurane leads to serious neurological side effects, including neuronal apoptosis and cognitive impairment. In the mouse model, cyclin dependent kinase 9 (CDK9) was significantly downregulated after exposure to sevoflurane, but the effect of CDK9 on neuronal apoptosis and cognitive impairment after sevoflurane exposure has not been elucidated. Here, we found that the upregulation of P300 by sevoflurane in vitro and in vivo inhibited the expression of CDK9 and induced neuron apoptosis.

Background: Suppressors of cytokine signaling family member 4 (SOCS4) was shown to serve critical and multifaceted roles in the progression of numerous cancers, including hepatocellular carcinoma, thyroid cancer, breast cancer, and lung adenocarcinoma. While, the expression and the roles of SOCS4 in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) remain elusive. The current study is aimed to investigate the expression pattern and functions of SOCS4 in ESCC.

The members of the Chromobox (CBX) family are important epigenetic regulatory molecules with critical biological roles in many tumors. However, no study has analyzed or verified their role in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD). UALCAN and Oncomine databases were used to analyze CBX expression in LUAD, and the cBioPortal database was used to analyze CBX genetic variations.

J Cell Physiol

August 2018

Department of Anesthesiology, Peoples Hospital of Xuyi, Xuyi, Jiangsu province, China.

An increasing number of studies have reported that lncRNAs are responsible for the development of neuropathic pain. In our current study, chronic constriction injury (CCI) rat models were established and we observed that lncRNA XIST was greatly increased. Knockdown of XIST can relieve pain characteristics including both mechanical and thermal hyperalgesia in CCI rats.
