Background: Differential diagnosis of Crohn's disease (CD) and intestinal tuberculosis (ITB) is still difficult in clinical pratice. DNA methylation has been considered as a favorable area for biomarker exploration and identification.
Objective: The purpose of the current study was to evaluate DNA methylation changes between CD and ITB.

Department of Gastroenterology, Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University, NO. 180, Fenglin Road, Xuhui District, Shanghai, 200032, People's Republic of China.
Background: Interferon regulatory factor 2 (IRF-2) acts as an anti-oncogene in gastric cancer (GC); however, the underlying mechanism remains unknown.
Methods: This study determined the expression of IRF-2 in GC tissues and adjacent non-tumor tissues using immunohistochemistry (IHC) and explored the predictive value of IRF-2 for the prognoses of GC patients. Cell function and xenograft tumor growth experiments in nude mice were performed to test tumor proliferation ability, both in vitro and in vivo.

Protein ubiquitination and deubiquitination participate in a number of biological processes, including cell growth, differentiation, transcriptional regulation, and oncogenesis. Ubiquitin C-terminal hydrolases (UCHs), a subfamily of deubiquitinating enzymes (DUBs), includes four members: UCH-L1/PGP9.5 (protein gene product 9.
