This study aims to probe the mechanism by which circPVT1 in lung cancer (LC)-derived exosomes (Exos) promotes proliferation, invasion and migration of LC cells by regulating macrophage polarization through miR-124-3p/EZH2 axis. The expressions of circPVT1 in blood-derived Exos extracted from lung adenocarcinoma (LA) patients were measured. Loss or gain-of-function experiments of circPVT1 and miR-124-3p were carried out to evaluate the effects of circPVT1 in LC-derived Exos and miR-124-3p on macrophage polarization toward M2 phenotype, whichi found that incubation of Exo-A with macrophages induced macrophage polarization to M2 type and M2-polarized macrophages co-incubated with A549 cells enhanced the biological function of LC cells.

Anaphylaxis has rapidly spread around the world in the last several decades. Environmental factors seem to play a major role, and epigenetic marks, especially DNA methylation, get more attention. We discussed several GEO opening data classifications with TOP 100 specific methylation region values (normalized M-values on line) by machine learning, which are remarkable to classify specific anaphylaxis after monoallergen exposure.

Cisatracurium besilate is the most commonly used non-depolarizing muscle relaxant in general anesthesia and in intensive care units. Studies have indicated that the proliferation of gastric cancer (GC) cells can be restrained by cisatracurium besilate. The present study aimed to investigate the mechanism underlying the role of cisatracurium besilate in TNF-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL)-induced GC.

LncRNA SNHG1 (SNHG1) has been widely studied as the causative factor of angiogenesis and proliferative agent in gastric, lung, cervical, and hepatocellular carcinomas. However, its significance of angiogenesis and progression of corneal neovascularization (CRNV) is least understood. This study focuses on the molecular mechanisms followed by SNHG1 to establish CRNV and its angiogenesis.

Isolated or dominant tubulointerstitial lupus nephritis is rare. Here, we reported a 67-year-old man diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) based on clinical and laboratory criteria, who was showing impaired renal function and non-nephrotic range proteinuria in the past 2 years. Renal biopsy showed almost normal glomeruli, but the tubulointerstitium showed "storiform" pattern with interstitial infiltration of IgG3 predominant plasma cells.

Several articles have indicated that circular RNAs are involved in pathogenesis of human cancers. Nevertheless, the role of circ_0091579 in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) progression remains to be revealed. Quantitative reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction was carried out to examine the expression of circ_0091579 and miR-1287.

Objectives: To evaluate the clinical performance of a deep learning (DL)-based method for brain MRI exams with reduced gadolinium-based contrast agent (GBCA) dose to provide better understanding of the readiness and limitations of this method.
Methods: Eighty-three consecutive patients (from March 2019 to August 2019) who underwent brain contrast-enhanced (CE) MRI were included. Three 3D T1-weighted images with zero-dose, low-dose (10%), and full-dose (100%) GBCA were collected.
Background: Kidneys obtained from deceased donors increase the incidence of delayed graft function (DGF) after renal transplantation. Here we investigated the influence of the risk factors of donors with DGF, and developed a donor risk scoring system for DGF prediction.
Methods: This retrospective study was conducted in 1807 deceased kidney donors and 3599 recipients who received donor kidneys transplants in 29 centers in China.

Organic light-emitting materials with aggregation-induced emission (AIE) character have experienced a rapid development in imaging, visualization and sensing. In this paper, by installing rotors to an aggregation-caused quenching (ACQ) compound, we constructed an AIE luminogen (AIEgens) system (A2-A4, B1-B3) with wide emission tunability, which covers almost all regions of visible light (400-780 nm). The calculated energy gap of the compounds is consistent with the value of the absorption transition.

Maintenance of genomic diversity is critically dependent on gene regulation at the transcriptional level. This occurs via the interaction of regulatory DNA sequence motifs with DNA-binding transcription factors. The zinc finger, BED-type (ZBED) gene family contains major DNA-binding motifs present in human transcriptional factors.

Mounting evidence has implicated the vital role of long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). This study aims to investigate the mechanism of lncRNA MEG8 on NSCLC progression. The mRNA expressions of MEG8 and miR-107 were examined in tumor and adjacent normal tissues from patients with NSCLC by qRT-PCR.

Annexin A4 (encoded by the gene) is a calcium ion (Ca)- and phospholipid-binding protein of the Annexin family. In this study, we checked the expression profile of in basal-like breast cancer (BLBC) and its association with survival outcomes using pan-cancer data from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) and the Genotype-Tissue Expression (GTEx) project. Then, using MDA-MB-231 and MDA-MB-468 cells, we explored the functional role of ANXA4 in regulating a cancer-related signaling pathway and identified potential partners of ANXA4.

To observe the effect of traditional and modified Ilizarov transverse tibial bone transport on microvascular regeneration of lower limbs in dogs. After general anesthesia on 10 experimental dogs, traditional and modified transverse tibial bone transport were performed on both tibias respectively. The control group was treated with the traditional method (the periosteum and bone flap were completely isolated), while the experimental group was treated with the modified method (the fibular periosteum of the open window bone flap was retained).

Dendritic cells (DCs) have an important role in initiating and maintaining the immune inflammatory response in allergic asthma, and CC chemokine receptor 7 (CCR7) is directly involved in the pathogenesis of DC‑ and T cell‑mediated allergic asthma. The present study aimed to investigate the effects of CCR7 on DC‑mediated immune tolerance in allergic asthma. In the present study, bone marrow‑derived DCs were transfected with an adenovirus encoding the rat CCR7 gene or a short hairpin RNA targeting CCR7 (sh‑CCR7).
