Status and Influencing Factors of Parenteral Nutrition Practice for Late Preterm Infants in China.

Objectives: To explore the status of parental nutrition practice of hospitalized late preterm infants and the factors influencing the clinical prescription.

Methods: A multi-center, prospective cohort study was conducted during October 2015 to October 2017. Infants born after 34 weeks and before 37 weeks were enrolled from twenty-five hospitals in the Beijing area of China.

Consensus Nomenclature for Reporting Neovascular Age-Related Macular Degeneration Data: Consensus on Neovascular Age-Related Macular Degeneration Nomenclature Study Group.

Purpose: To establish a process to evaluate and standardize a state-of-the-art nomenclature for reporting neovascular age-related macular degeneration (AMD) data.

Pelvic reconstruction following resection of tumour involving the whole ilium and acetabulum.

Background: Functional reconstruction following resection of pelvic tumours with the ileum and the acetabulum involvement is challenging and demanding. The aim of this study was to evaluate the results of these patients receiving pelvic reconstruction with a femoral head autograft plus a hemipelvic prosthesis.

Methods: Eighteen patients receiving pelvic reconstruction with a femoral head autograft plus a hemipelvic prosthesis following resection of pelvic tumours involving the whole ileum and the acetabulum were included in this study from April 2006 to June 2014.

Functional results of wrist arthrodesis versus arthroplasty with proximal fibula following giant cell tumour excision of the distal radius.

Twenty-one patients underwent excision of a Campanacci grade III giant cell tumour of the distal radius and had reconstruction using a proximal fibula autograft. We compared the functional results of wrist arthrodesis versus arthroplasty. All 21 patients healed in an average of 8 months, and all have remained disease free.

EULAR/ACR classification criteria for adult and juvenile idiopathic inflammatory myopathies and their major subgroups: a methodology report.

Objective: To describe the methodology used to develop new classification criteria for adult and juvenile idiopathic inflammatory myopathies (IIMs) and their major subgroups.

Methods: An international, multidisciplinary group of myositis experts produced a set of 93 potentially relevant variables to be tested for inclusion in the criteria. Rheumatology, dermatology, neurology and paediatric clinics worldwide collected data on 976 IIM cases (74% adults, 26% children) and 624 non-IIM comparator cases with mimicking conditions (82% adults, 18% children).

Surveillance of Dialysis Events: one-year experience at 33 outpatient hemodialysis centers in China.

A multicenter prospective surveillance on dialysis events was carried in 33 dialysis centers in China. Maintenance hemodialysis (HD) outpatients who were dialyzed on the first two days of each month during 2014 were monitored for dialysis events and other infections. During the one-year period, 52,680 patient-months were monitored.

Objective: To study the risk factors of renal failure in the early post-liver transplantation period.

Methods: 92 consecutive liver transplantation cases were reviewed and a multi-factor analysis of presumed risk factors of early post-transplantation period renal failure was conducted. The factors analyzed were total bilirubin level, prothrombin activity, onset of structural renal disease, onset of gastrointestinal hemorrhage, whether the patient underwent large-volume paracentesis, or underwent plasmapheresis therapy, needed renal replacement therapy, the operation method used, the bleeding volume during operation and the immunosuppressive agents used.
