Balloon pulmonary angioplasty (BPA) has been proven effective for addressing technically inoperable chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH). However, the effectiveness of BPA in technically operable CTEPH patients who, for various reasons, did not undergo the procedure remains an area requiring exploration.
