Portal vein tumor thrombus (PVTT) is very common and it plays a major role in the prognosis and clinical staging of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). We have published the first version of the guideline in 2016 and revised in 2018. Over the past several years, many new evidences for the treatment of PVTT become available, especially for the advent of new targeted drugs and immune checkpoint inhibitors which have further improved the prognosis of PVTT.

Previous studies have shown that AQP9 plays an important role in energy metabolism in nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Recently, metabolomic analyses were used to determine the slight changes in metabolic profiles and helped to understand the disease progression, therapeutic intervention of NAFLD. A mouse model of NAFLD was established with a high-fat diet (HFD), and Aqp9 knockout mice were constructed.

Effects of time-restricted feeding with different feeding windows on metabolic health: A systematic review of human studies.

Time-restricted feeding (TRF), a feasible form of intermittent fasting, has been proven to benefit metabolic health in animal models and humans. TRF restricts the daily feeding window to 3 to 12 h for eating ad libitum, with fasting for the rest of the day. To our knowledge, specific guidance on the appropriate time period for eating during TRF has not yet been promoted.

A Pilot Study of Radiomics Models Combining Multi-Probe and Multi-Modality Images of Ga-NOTA-PRGD2 and F-FDG PET/CT for Differentiating Benign and Malignant Pulmonary Space-Occupying Lesions.

Background: This is a pilot study of radiomics based on Ga-NOTA-PRGD2 [NOTA-PEG4-E[c(RGDfK)]2)] and F-FDG PET/CT to (i) evaluate the diagnostic efficacy of radiomics features of Ga-NOTA-PRGD2 PET in the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant pulmonary space-occupying lesions and (ii) compare the diagnostic efficacy of multi-modality and multi-probe images.

Methods: We utilized a dataset of 48 patients who participated in Ga-NOTA-PRGD2 PET/CT and F-FDG PET/CT clinical trials to extract image features and evaluate their diagnostic efficacy in the differentiation of benign and malignant lesions by the Mann-Whitney U test. Effect of BRAF and TERT Promoter Mutations on Thyroglobulin Response in Patients With Distant-Metastatic Differentiated Thyroid Cancer.

Objective: To assess the impact of serine/threonine-protein kinase B-Raf (BRAF) V600E and telomerase reverse transcriptase (TERT) promoter mutations in patients with distant-metastatic differentiated thyroid cancer (DM-DTC) based on thyroglobulin (Tg) response to radioactive iodine (RAI) therapy.

Methods: The BRAF and TERT mutations in primary tumors or metastatic lymph nodes of 114 patients with DM-DTC were retrospectively examined. RAI avidity was evaluated using a posttreatment iodine-131 whole-body scan.

Prognostic Value of the Albumin-to-γ-glutamyltransferase Ratio for Gallbladder Cancer Patients and Establishing a Nomogram for Overall Survival.

Long-Term Results of a Phase II Trial of Apatinib for Progressive Radioiodine Refractory Differentiated Thyroid Cancer.
