IgG4-related disease (IgG4-RD) is a highly heterogeneous autoimmune disease. Recently, 2 subtypes of IgG4-RD, proliferative and fibrotic, were defined according to patients' clinicopathologic characteristics. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in fibroinflammatory activity shown on Ga-FAPI-04 and F-FDG PET/CT in the proliferative and fibrotic IgG4-RD subtypes.

Solitary fibrous tumor (SFT) is a rare sarcoma of mesenchymal origin. Although generally benign, SFTs carry the risk of recurrence and metastasis, with limited effective treatment options. The aims of this study are to compare the performance of fibroblast activation protein inhibitor (FAPI), [Ga]Ga-DOTA-FAPI-04 (denoted as [Ga]Ga-FAPI-04), and conventional [F]FDG PET/CT in patients with recurrent or metastatic SFTs head to head and to preliminarily explore the value of FAP-targeted radiopharmaceutical therapy with Lu for SFT patients.

Arnebinfuranoids A-G, seven unique heterodimers of meroterpenoids from Arnebia euchroma.

Phytochemistry

March 2025

State Key Laboratory of Bioactive Substance and Function of Natural Medicines, Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College, Beijing 100050, China. Electronic address:

Seven previously undescribed heterodimers (1-7) with unusual carbon-carbon bond linkages for monomeric meroterpenoids and a known compound (8) were isolated from the roots of Arnebia euchroma (Royle) Johnst. Their structures were elucidated by extensive spectroscopic methods and quantum chemical calculations of electronic circular dichroism spectra. Further careful NMR analysis revealed that the chemical shift differences of the methylene protons affected by remote chirality were related to the relative configurations of the heterodimers (1-6).

Electronic address:

Epilepsy is a prevalent neurological disorder that affects over 70 million individuals worldwide and is often associated with cognitive impairments. Despite the widespread impact of epilepsy and cognitive impairments, the genetic basis and causal relationships underlying these conditions remain uncertain, prompting us to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the molecular mechanisms involved. In this study, we utilized statistical data from the third National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES III) to evaluate correlation and large-scale pan-phenotype genome-wide association study (GWAS) data to establish genetic correlation and causality.

PCK1 inhibits cGAS-STING activation by consumption of GTP to promote tumor immune evasion.

J Exp Med

May 2025

Zhejiang Key Laboratory of Pancreatic Disease, The First Affiliated Hospital, Zhejiang Key Laboratory of Frontier Medical Research on Cancer Metabolism, and Institute of Translational Medicine, Zhejiang University School of Medicine, Hangzhou, China.

Hypoxia induces immunosuppressive phenotypes in tumor cells even in the presence of cytosolic DNA accumulation. The mechanisms by which tumor cells suppress hypoxia-induced cGAS-STING activation for immune evasion remain largely unclear. Here, we demonstrate that hypoxic stimulation induces JNK1/2-mediated S151 phosphorylation of phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase 1 (PCK1), a rate-limiting enzyme in gluconeogenesis.
