Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have completely changed cancer treatment in the last decade and are now widely used in several cancers. In the era of immunotherapy, oncologists have changed not only the way they evaluate treatment efficacy but also the management of treatment-related adverse events. This new profile of immune adverse events has resulted in an urgent need for a more holistic view of cancer patients and for more collaborations with other organ specialists to optimize patient treatment and support.

Dear Editor, According to GINA, severe asthma is defined as uncontrolled asthma, despite therapy adherence with an optimized high dose of inhaled corticosteroid plus long-acting ß2-agonist coupled with management of modifiable factors/comorbidities, that worsens when this treatment is decreased. It affects a significant portion of asthmatic patients and imposes a high risk of exacerbations and mortality, which are associated with significant healthcare costs and psychosocial impact..

Human epidermal growth factor 2 (HER-2)-positive breast cancer represents 15-20% of all breast cancer subtypes and has an aggressive biological behavior with worse prognosis. The development of HER-2-targeted therapies has changed the disease's course, having a direct impact on survival rates and quality of life. Drug development of HER-2-targeting therapies is a prolific field, with numerous new therapeutic strategies showing survival benefits and gaining regulatory approval in recent years.

Background: Computer-aided detection (CADe) systems could assist endoscopists in detecting early neoplasia in Barrett's oesophagus, which could be difficult to detect in endoscopic images. The aim of this study was to develop, test, and benchmark a CADe system for early neoplasia in Barrett's oesophagus.
Methods: The CADe system was first pretrained with ImageNet followed by domain-specific pretraining with GastroNet.

MR1 : ESGE recommends the following standards for Barrett esophagus (BE) surveillance:- a minimum of 1-minute inspection time per cm of BE length during a surveillance endoscopy- photodocumentation of landmarks, the BE segment including one picture per cm of BE length, and the esophagogastric junction in retroflexed position, and any visible lesions- use of the Prague and (for visible lesions) Paris classification- collection of biopsies from all visible abnormalities (if present), followed by random four-quadrant biopsies for every 2-cm BE length.Strong recommendation, weak quality of evidence. MR2: ESGE suggests varying surveillance intervals for different BE lengths.

Background And Aims: Cardiovascular (CV) diseases show clear differences in clinical manifestation and treatment outcomes between men and women. To reduce sex disparities in achieving lipid-lowering therapy (LLT) goals, a sex-focused assessment is essential and more studies are needed to bring new evidence to clinicians. This study aims to assess the role of sex in attaining low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) goals, after correction for age, CV risk category, LLT intensity, and presence of mental health disorder and social deprivation.
