[Preventive abdominal wall repair in high-risk groups of postoperative ventral hernia].

Aim: To identify the most important predictors of postoperative hernia and to determine the indications for preventive surgical repair of abdominal wall.

Material And Methods: Prospective analysis included 398 medical records of patients who underwent median laparotomy. Experimental tensiometry was applied to determine strength of intact fascia.

Aim: To develop 'Cadaveric Course' of operative surgery for severe combined trauma for students, surgical residents, postgraduate students of medical universities and to compare its effectiveness with other approaches.

Material And Methods: 'Cadaveric course' program of operative surgery for severe combined trauma consisted of four stages. The first stage is theoretical course (2 weeks), the second stage - students' work in cadaveric operating theatre with instructors (5 weeks), the third stage - their independent work in 'cadaveric operating theatre (10 weeks), the fourth stage - analysis of the results and their comparison with those of 5 2-year residents (control group).

[Aspects of the importance of postoperative hepatoprotector therapy in urgent surgery].

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect on the effectiveness of the correction of enteric insufficiency syndrome in patients with urgent surgical pathology included in the scheme of complex therapy Remaxol. The results of complex therapy of 227 patients (98 people with common peritonitis and 129 patients with acute intestinal obstruction) were analyzed. 128 patients of the main group in the postoperative period were included in the therapy scheme Remaxol: intravenously drip in a daily dose of 400 ml at a rate of 40 drops per minute, a course of -5 days.
