Landouzy-Dejerine myopathy (Facial-shoulder-shoulder myodystrophy) is a disease which causes weakness of the muscles of the shoulder girdle, back and hip muscles, which predisposes patients to an increased risk of injury and disability. The article presents a clinical observation of non-ischemic priapism, which developed as a result of perineal trauma with the formation of a fistula of the right cavernous body in a patient against the background of facial shoulder-shoulder myodystrophy. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is multifactorial disease, which is characterized by airflow limitation and can be provoked by genetic factors, including carriage of the PiZ allele of the protease inhibitor (Pi) gene, encoding alpha-1 antitrypsin (A1AT). The purpose of the work on normotensive rats of different age groups (3, 15 and 22 months) to study the synchronism between the functioning of the cardiovascular system and the locomotor activity of animals in the «open field» test by a single injection of exogenous melatonin in different doses (1 and 10 mg/kg). Studies have revealed the unidirectional dose-dependent effect of exogenous melatonin on the locomotor activity of rats of different ages and the age-dependent effect of melatonin on the parameters of the cardiovascular system. It shows the possibility desynchronization of the circadian rhythms of locomotor activity and the functioning of the cardiovascular system with aging, which can lead to a discrepancy between hemodynamic parameters and the level of locomotor activity.
