Purpose: Haemorrhage following proctological surgery is one of the complications with the greatest potential for severity. The aim of this work was to assess the frequency and risk factors of haemorrhage requiring hospitalization during 30-days postoperatively.
Methods: A retrospective cohort review of all surgeries performed in a Parisian department of medico-surgical proctology between January 2016 and June 2018 was performed.
