Background: The effectiveness of physiotherapist-led Cognitive Behavioural Interventions (CBI) with or without physiotherapy is still unclear.
Objective: This systematic review (PROSPERO registration number CRD42022321073) aims to determine the effectiveness of physiotherapist-led CBI with or without physiotherapy in comparison to physiotherapy alone on quality of life, disabilities and catastrophization.
Methods: MEDLINE, Web of Science, Science Direct, and PEDro were searched for randomized controlled trials that investigate the use of CBI versus conventional physiotherapy in chronic NSLBP.

The production of superoxide anions and other reactive oxygen species (ROS) by neutrophils is necessary for host defense against microbes. However, excessive ROS production can induce cell damage that participates in the inflammatory response. Superoxide anions are produced by the phagocyte NADPH oxidase, a multicomponent enzyme system consisting of two transmembrane proteins (gp91phox/NOX2 and p22phox) and four soluble cytosolic proteins (p40phox, p47phox, p67phox and the small G proteins Rac1/2).

Background: Cervical cancer is the fourth most common cancer among women worldwide, both for incidence and mortality. Prevention relies on screening with a Pap test to detect precancerous lesions, which can then be treated. Access to this screening is currently both improvable and inequitable.

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) typically presents with a primary hepatic mass. Nevertheless, on rare occasions, the initial presentation can be exclusively related to extrahepatic metastases and the most common sites of metastases are the lungs, lymph nodes, bones, and adrenal glands. While, bone metastases are generally accompanied by multiple metastatic spreads elsewhere in the body or previously diagnosed HCC, cases of solitary bone metastases with no liver lesion at imaging have been reported.

Background: Heparin-bonded expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (hb-ePTFE) synthetic grafts are an alternative to autologous vein grafts (AVG) for surgical bypass interventions in lower limb peripheral arterial disease (LLPAD). However, the clinical benefits of hb-ePTFE grafts have not been reviewed systematically for patients undergoing below-the-knee (BK) surgical bypass. This study aimed to meta-analyze available data on the utility of hb-ePTFE in patients undergoing BK surgical bypass.

Background: We designed this study based on both a physician practice survey and real-world patient data to: (1) evaluate clinical management practices in extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC) among medical centers located across France; and (2) describe first-line treatment patterns among patients with ES-SCLC following the introduction of immunotherapy into clinical practice.
Methods: A 50-item questionnaire was completed by physicians from 45 medical centers specialized in SCLC management. Responses were collected from June 2022 to January 2023.

Background: The prevalence and risk factors of posttraumatic stress disorder after cesarean delivery, outside high-risk contexts, remain unclear.
Objective: This study aimed to assess posttraumatic stress disorder prevalence and risk factors at 2 months postpartum among a general population of women with cesarean delivery.
Study Design: This was a prospective ancillary cohort study of the Tranexamic Acid for Preventing Postpartum Hemorrhage after Cesarean Delivery (TRAAP2) trial, conducted in 27 French hospitals from 2018 to 2020, enrolling women expected to undergo cesarean delivery before or during labor at ≥34 weeks of gestation.

Objectives: To describe the characteristics of patients with Sjögren's disease (SjD) and inclusion-body myositis (IBM), and how they compare to SjD patients with other inflammatory myopathies (IM).
Methods: Patients were retrospectively recruited from 13 French centers and included if they met the ACR/EULAR criteria for SjD and for IM. They were categorized as SjD-IBM if sub-criteria for IBM were met, or as SjD-other IM if not.

Introduction: During the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, the Gustave Roussy Cancer Center introduced teleconsultation via telephone, as an alternative to face-to-face consultation to reduce patient hospital visits. This study was designed to assess patient and doctor satisfaction with this modality of care in oncology patient care during the period of the pandemic and beyond.
Methods: We designed two questionnaires based on validated scores to assess satisfaction from teleconsultation in patients (EORTC OUT-PATSAT 35 and Telemedicine Satisfaction Questionnaire [TSQ] scores) and doctors (Telehealth Usability Questionnaire [TUQ]), and anxiety levels in both groups (anxiety section of the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale [HADS], HADS-A).
BACKGROUND: The discovery of a saliva-based micro–ribonucleic acid (miRNA) signature for endometriosis in 2022 opened up new perspectives for early and noninvasive diagnosis of the disease. The 109-miRNA saliva signature is the product of miRNA biomarkers and artificial intelligence (AI) modeling. We designed a multicenter study to provide external validation of its diagnostic accuracy.

Background: Lung or heart-lung transplantation (LT/HLT) for severe pulmonary hypertension (PH) as the primary disease indication carries a high risk of waiting list mortality and post-transplant complications. France and the UK both have coordinated PH patient services but with different referral pathways for accessing LT services.
Methods: We conducted a comparative analysis of adult PH patients listed for LT/HLT in the UK and France.

Probiotics are known to promote human health either precautionary in healthy individuals or therapeutically in patients suffering from certain ailments. Although this knowledge was empirical in past tomes, modern science has already verified it and expanded it to new limits. These microorganisms can be found in nature in various foods such as dairy products or in supplements formulated for clinical or preventive use.

Femoral head fractures are rare traumatic injuries that are usually associated with hip dislocations. Open reduction and internal fixation are performed when indicated, but can be associated with a higher risk of avascular necrosis. We report the case of a 24-year-old patient with a Pipkin type II fracture dislocation of the femoral head fixed via a minimally invasive three-dimensional navigated internal fixation technique.

Aims: Post-traumatic periprosthetic acetabular fractures are rare but serious. Few studies carried out on small cohorts have reported them in the literature. The aim of this work is to describe the specific characteristics of post-traumatic periprosthetic acetabular fractures, and the outcome of their surgical treatment in terms of function and complications.
