Background And Objectives: Pancreatic cyst fluid level of glucose is a promising marker to identify mucinous from nonmucinous tumors, but the glucose assay has not yet been recommended. The objective of this study is to compare the diagnostic performances of pancreatic cyst fluid level of glucose and carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA).
Methods: In this French multicenter study, data of consecutive patients who underwent fine-needle aspiration of pancreatic cyst with intracyst glucose assay between 2018 and 2022 were retrospectively reviewed.

Purpose: Partial nephrectomy (PN) for large or complex renal tumors can be difficult and associated with a higher risk of recurrence than radical nephrectomy. We aim to evaluate the clinical useful of nephrometry scores for predicting oncological outcomes in a large cohort of patients who underwent PN for renal cell carcinomas.
Methods: Our analysis included patients who underwent PN for renal cell carcinoma in 21 French academic centers (2010-2020).

We investigated whether secondary versus de novo acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) would be associated with poor outcomes in adult acute AML patients in first complete remission (CR1) receiving unrelated cord blood transplantation (CBT). This is a retrospective study from the acute leukaemia working party of the European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation. Inclusion criteria included adult at first allogeneic haematopoietic cell transplantation between 2000 and 2021, unrelated single or double unit CBT, AML in CR1, no ex vivo T-cell depletion and no post-transplant cyclophosphamide.

Histone H3 lysine 9 methylation (H3K9me), which is written by the Euchromatic Histone Lysine Methyltransferases EHMT1 and EHMT2 and read by the heterochromatin protein 1 (HP1) chromobox (CBX) protein family, is dysregulated in many types of cancers. Approaches to inhibit regulators of this pathway are currently being evaluated for therapeutic purposes. Thus, knowledge of the complexes supporting the function of these writers and readers during the process of cell proliferation is critical for our understanding of their role in carcinogenesis.

Background And Aims: Colorectal lesions measuring greater than 20 mm are unsuitable for en bloc endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR): piecemeal EMR (PM-EMR) and endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) are needed. The European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE) recommends ESD only for microinfiltrative lesions, although Japanese teams perform en bloc ESD for all lesions. We report the outcomes obtained in our endoscopy unit for these lesions and assess the hybrid "knife-assisted piecemeal EMR" (KAPM-EMR) technique.

(1) Background: The independent negative prognostic value of isolated tumor cells or micro-metastases in axillary lymph nodes has been established in triple-negative breast cancers (BC). However, the prognostic significance of pN0(i+) or pN1mi in HER2-positive BCs treated by primary surgery remains unexplored. Therefore, our objective was to investigate the impact of pN0(i+) or pN1mi in HER2-positive BC patients undergoing up-front surgery on their outcomes.

Background: Small cell lung cancer (SCLC) has a tendency towards recurrence and limited survival. Standard-of-care in 1st-line is platinum-etoposide chemotherapy plus atezolizumab or durvalumab, based on landmarkclinical trials.
Methods: IFCT-1905 CLINATEZO is a nationwide, non-interventional, retrospectivestudy of patients with extensive-SCLC receivingatezolizumab plus chemotherapy as part of French Early Access Program.

Background: The crosstalk between the immune system and cancer cells has aroused considerable interest over the past decades. To escape immune surveillance cancer cells evolve various strategies orchestrating tumor microenvironment. The discovery of the inhibitory immune checkpoints was a major breakthrough due to their crucial contribution to immune evasion.

Background: In prostate cancer (PCa), questions remain on indications for prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) positron emission tomography (PET) imaging and PSMA radioligand therapy, integration of advanced imaging in nomogram-based decision-making, dosimetry, and development of new theranostic applications.
Objective: We aimed to critically review developments in molecular hybrid imaging and systemic radioligand therapy, to reach a multidisciplinary consensus on the current state of the art in PCa.
Design, Setting, And Participants: The results of a systematic literature search informed a two-round Delphi process with a panel of 28 PCa experts in medical or radiation oncology, urology, radiology, medical physics, and nuclear medicine.

Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) treatment is challenging in older patients. There is a lack of evidence-based recommendations for older patients ≥70, a group largely underrepresented in clinical trials. With new treatment options being available in recent years, recommendations are needed for these patients.

Lysophospholipids (lysoPLs) are crucial metabolites involved in various physiological and pathological cellular processes. Understanding their binding interactions, particularly with human serum albumin (HSA), is essential due to their role in regulating lysoPLs-induced cytotoxicity. However, the precise mechanism of lysoPLs binding to HSA remains elusive.

Nuclear pore complexes (NPCs) have increasingly recognized interactions with the genome, as exemplified in yeast, where they bind transcribed or damaged chromatin. By combining genome-wide approaches with live imaging of model loci, we uncover a correlation between NPC association and the accumulation of R-loops, which are genotoxic structures formed through hybridization of nascent RNAs with their DNA templates. Manipulating hybrid formation demonstrates that R-loop accumulation per se, rather than transcription or R-loop-dependent damages, is the primary trigger for relocation to NPCs.

Background: Partial nephrectomy (PN) is the gold standard treatment for cT1b renal tumors. Percutaneous guided thermal ablation (TA) has proven oncologic efficacy with low morbidity for the treatment of small renal masses (<3 cm). Recently, 3D image-guided robot-assisted PN (3D-IGRAPN) has been described, and decreased perioperative morbidity compared to standard RAPN has been reported.

In recent years, major advances have been made toward the individualization of epithelial ovarian cancer care, leading to an overall improvement of patient outcomes. However, real-life data indicate that the oldest populations do not benefit from this, due to aspects related to cancer (more aggressive histopathological features), treatment (i.e.

Importance: The optimal maintenance strategy after induction chemotherapy with anti-epidermal growth factor receptor antibody for patients with RAS wild-type metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) remains to be debated.
Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of maintenance therapy with single-agent cetuximab after FOLFIRI (leucovorin [folinic acid], fluorouracil, and irinotecan) plus cetuximab induction therapy.
Design, Setting, And Participants: The TIME (Treatment After Irinotecan-Based Frontline Therapy: Maintenance With Erbitux]) (PRODIGE 28 [Partenariat de Recherche en Oncologie Digestive]-UCGI 27 [UniCancer GastroIntestinal Group]) phase 2 noncomparative, multicenter randomized clinical trial was conducted from January 15, 2014, to November 23, 2018, among 139 patients with unresectable RAS wild-type mCRC.

Axicabtagene ciloleucel (axi-cel) demonstrated superior efficacy compared to standard of care as second-line therapy in patients with high-risk relapsed/refractory (R/R) large B cell lymphoma (LBCL) considered eligible for autologous stem cell transplantation (ASCT); however, in clinical practice, roughly half of patients with R/R LBCL are deemed unsuitable candidates for ASCT. The efficacy of axi-cel remains to be ascertained in transplant-ineligible patients. ALYCANTE, an open-label, phase 2 study, evaluated axi-cel as a second-line therapy in 62 patients with R/R LBCL who were considered ineligible for ASCT.
