Synthesis of ZIF-8/chitosan composites for Cu removal from water.

Environ Technol

September 2024

College of Biological and Chemical Engineering, Panzhihua University, Panzhihua, People's Republic of China.

In this work, a kind of novel Chitosan (Cs)-doped zeolite imidazole framework (ZIF-8@Cs) with a larger surface area and a smaller pore size was synthesised via a facial solvothermal approach and applied to remove Cu from mine wastewater. Compared to nondoped ZIF-8, ZIF-8@Cs exhibited a stronger adsorption performance and removal efficiency. The reason was that ZIF-8@Cs doped by the Cs could suppress the aggregation and increase the monodispersity of ZIF-8.

Aiming at the problems of insufficient ability of artificial COA in the late optimization search period, loss of population diversity, easy to fall into local extreme value, resulting in slow convergence and lack of exploration ability; In this paper, an improved COA algorithm based on chaotic sequence, nonlinear inertia weight, adaptive T-distribution variation strategy and alert updating strategy is proposed to enhance the performance of COA (shorted as TNTWCOA). The algorithm introduces chaotic sequence mechanism to initialize the position. The position distribution of the initial solution is more uniform, the high quality initial solution is generated, the population richness is increased, and the problem of poor quality and uneven initial solution of the Coati Optimization Algorithm is solved.

Faculty of Biological and Chemical Engineering, Panzhihua University, Panzhihua, 617000, Sichuan, China; Fujian Goshi Green Environmental Protection Technology Development Co., Ltd, Fuqing, 350301, Fujian, China. Electronic address:

Phosphogypsum(PG) is one of the typical bulk industrial solid wastes generated in the phosphate chemical industry. Due to its huge production volume and immature resource treatment technology, a large amount of PG can only be stored and disposed in slag yards, and its impact on the ecological environment is becoming increasingly significant during long-term storage. Up to now, many researchers have focused their research on PG, with less attention paid to the PG leachate(PG-L).

Migrasomes are recently identified organelles that form at the ends or forks of retraction fibers (RFs) behind migrating cells and are expelled from the cell through cell migration. Migrasomes contain signaling molecules which are captured by surrounding cells along with migrasomes or released into the extracellular environment following the rupture of the migrasomes. Finally, through the action of these signaling molecules, migrasomes facilitate the entire process of information conveyance.

Environment-Benign Colloidal Quantum Dots-Modified Dual Photoelectrodes for Self-Biased Photoelectrochemical Water Splitting.

ChemSusChem

January 2025

Solar Energy Integration Technology Popularization and Application Key Laboratory of Sichuan Province, Panzhihua University, Panzhihua, 617000, P. R. China.

Photoelectrochemical (PEC) water splitting based on colloidal quantum dots (QDs) presents a promising approach for utilizing solar energy to produce green hydrogen energy. Previous research has been mainly focused on the single-photoelectrode QDs-PEC device operated under external bias, while the investigation of dual-photoelectrode configuration for self-biased QDs-PEC system is still lacking. In this work, two types of eco-friendly Cu-AISe/ZnSe:Cu (CZAC) and Mn-AIS/ZnS@Cu (MAZC) QDs were used to respectively sensitize the semiconductor n-type TiO and p-type CuO photoelectrodes, which acted as the photoanode and photocathode to build a heavy metal-free QDs-based bias-free solar water splitting cell, yielding a maximum photocurrent density of 0.

The spindle rotation error of computer numerical control (CNC) equipment directly reflects the machining quality of the workpiece and is a key indicator reflecting the performance and reliability of CNC equipment. Existing rotation error prediction methods do not consider the importance of different sensor data. This study developed an adaptive weighted deep residual network (ResNet) for predicting spindle rotation errors, thereby establishing accurate mapping between easily obtainable vibration information and difficult-to-obtain rotation errors.
