Background: Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a degenerative neurological disorder that impairs memory, cognitive abilities, and the ability to do everyday activities. This neurodegenerative disease is growing increasingly common as the world's population ages. Here, we reviewed some of the key findings showing the function of Aβ peptide, oxidative stress, free radical damage Triggering Receptors Expressed cn Myeloid Cells 2 (TREM2), Nitric Oxide (NO) and gut microbiota in the aetiology of AD.

P-coumaric acid is a common dietary polyphenol present in fruits, vegetables, and cereals in conjugated and free form. The toxicity profile of the drug is very low, and it exhibits many pharmacological actions (antihypertensive, anti-inflammatory, anticancer, antimicrobial activity, antidiabetic, anticancer, and antioxidant effect). P-coumaric acid also acts as a free radical scavenger and inhibits various enzymes, which generate free radicals.

The nature and sources of ionic species were studied in the monsoon rainwater collected from two monuments of the sixteenth-seventeenth century CE in the Yamuna River basin from 2016 to 2018. The results showed the acidic pH of the rainwater with high dissolved SO and NO, and soil-derived components (Ca, Mg, and K). The anionic (SO, NO, Cl, F, and HCO) and cationic (Ca, Mg, K, NH, and Na) concentrations showed regional differences in yearly contribution mainly from the fossil fuel combustion, soil dust, and farm residue burning.

The manuscript presents a bragging-based ensemble forecasting model for predicting the number of incidences of a disease based on past occurrences. The objectives of this research work are to enhance accuracy, reduce overfitting, and handle overdrift; the proposed model has shown promising results in terms of error metrics. The collated dataset of the diseases is collected from the official government site of Hong Kong from the year 2010 to 2019.

Human interferences have caused groundwater contamination in alluvial aquifers which subsequently affects the health of exposed population. In the present study, 74 groundwater samples from the semi-arid region of Panipat district, falling under Yamuna sub-basin, India was evaluated to know the potential non-carcinogenic human health risk in local adult and child population. The major objective of the present study was to know the non-carcinogenic human health risk due to intake of fluoride and nitrate contaminated water, using two different approaches: deterministic and probabilistic (Monte Carlo simulation).

With the aim to explore the possible role of phosphate-solubilizing bacteria (PSB) in phosphorus (P) cycling in agricultural soils, we isolated PSB inhabiting naturally in the sandy loam soils under chickpea cropping of Patiala (Punjab State). A total of 31 bacterial isolates showing solubilizing activities were isolated on Pikovskaya agar plates. The potent phosphate solubilizers were selected for further characterization.
