Background: Little is known about differences in the size and morphology of the right and left human tali. The present study demonstrates differences between right and left talar morphometric geometric profiles as fluctuating asymmetry in matched pairs of cadaveric specimens.
Methods: In total, 24 tali were collected in this study.

This study was to report the comparison of outcomes between Ilizarov ring fixator (IRF) and Taylor Spatial Frame (Smith & Nephew, Memphis, Tenn.; TSF) in terms of the effectiveness of ankle-foot deformities correction, follow-up results, and complications. Fourteen patients with ankle-foot deformities were corrected using circular external fixation (IRF group = 7 patients; TSF group = 7 patients) and related procedures.

Two consecutive female patients presented with progressive jaundice, epigastric pain and weight loss. Cross-sectional imaging with computer tomography and magnetic resonance imaging did not show any mass lesions whereas magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography showed common bile duct strictures. Both patients were then referred for endosonographic evaluation.
