Background: To compare the clinicopathological, perioperative, functional, and oncological outcomes of completely endophytic renal cell carcinoma (RCC) patients who underwent partial nephrectomy (PN) with or without preoperative hyperaccuracy CT three-dimensional (HACT3D) reconstruction.

Methods: A retrospective cohort study was conducted on 154 completely endophytic RCC patients treated with PN at our medical center from January 2018 to December 2023. Patients were divided into two groups based on whether they received preoperative HACT3D reconstruction.

A novel electrochemical biosensor based on TiO nanotube array films for highly sensitive detection of exosomes.

Exosomes have emerged as a powerful biomarker for early cancer diagnosis, however, accurately detecting cancer-derived exosomes in biofluids remains a crucial challenge. In this study, we present a novel label-free electrochemical biosensor utilizing titanium dioxide nanotube array films (TiONTAs) for the sensitive detection of exosomes in complex biological samples. This innovative biosensor takes advantage of the excellent electrochemical properties of TiONTAs and their specific interactions with the phosphate groups of exosomes.

Background: This study investigates the role and efficacy of acupuncture combined with rehabilitation therapy during the recovery phase of patients with traumatic spinal cord injury. This study aimed to investigate the effects of physical multimorbidity on the trajectory of cognitive decline over 17 years and whether vary across wealth status. The study was conducted in 9035 respondents aged 50+ at baseline from nine waves (2002-2019) of the English Longitudinal Study of Aging. A latent class analysis was used to identify patterns of physical multimorbidity, and mixed multilevel models were performed to determine the association between physical multimorbidity and trajectories of cognitive decline.
