Background And Aims: None of the clinical difficult airway predictors are 100% sensitive and specific. Ultrasound is being used for airway assessment, but there is still no established parameters or model to predict difficult laryngoscopy. This observational study was planned to determine the predictive ability of clinical and sonography-based airway assessment parameters for difficult laryngoscopy and intubation.

Complete traumatic dorsal spondyloptosis with no neurological involvement is so rare due to the inherent stability of the thoracic spine, that only 2 other cases are reported in literature. A 31-year male with history of fall, and normal neurological examination was noted to have grade 5 dislocation at D7-D8, with locking of D7-8 bodies and expanded canal due to pedicle fractures accommodating the displaced spinal cord. As the excessive manipulation to achieve reduction was deemed too risky to be worthy, it was decided to do in-situ fixation without reduction.

Patients seek orthodontic treatment to correct unesthetic and asymmetric smiles because even a minimal cant of 4 is well perceived by a layperson. This case report describes a nonsurgical orthodontic management of iatrogenic occlusal canting in a 22-year-old female, who developed it during a previous orthodontic treatment for an impacted canine. The iatrogenic cant was corrected by the intrusion of the left mandibular segment followed by extrusion of left maxillary segment using mini-implants.

We describe a young girl of steroid resistant nephrotic syndrome with rapidly reaccumulating right sided pleural effusion. On evaluation, the patient was diagnosed with right side pleuro-peritoneal leak leading to recurrent right hydrothorax. To the best of our knowledge, hydrothorax due to transdiaphragmatic shunting in a nephrotic patient has not been reported earlier.

Esophageal cancer is more common with increasing age and rarely seen below the age of 45. The current case report is a case of squamous cell carcinoma of the esophagus in a 17-year-old male patient who presented with progressive dysphagia and significant weight loss. Contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CECT) neck, chest, and abdomen showed a lesion involving the middle and lower third of the esophagus with contiguous involvement of the gastroesophageal junction (GEJ), extending from D7 to D11 vertebral segments and completely occluding the lumen.

Background: The use of trans anastomotic feeding tube (TAFT) during the repair of Esophageal atresia/Tracheo-esophageal fistula (EA/TEF) aims to enhance outcomes by enabling early feeding, reducing the requirement for parenteral nutrition, and reducing complications such as anastomotic leak by stenting the anastomosis. However, TAFT's benefits and drawbacks are debated due to conflicting reports. Thus, we conducted a prospective pilot randomized control trial to elucidate the impact of TAFT on postoperative outcomes and the potential benefits of avoidance of TAFT.

Introduction: Posterior urethral valve (PUV) is a major cause of congenital bladder dysfunction, often persisting despite treatment. Emerging therapies, including anticholinergics and α-1 blockers, offer potential but lack clear guidelines. This study evaluates their effectiveness in improving bladder function after valve fulguration.
