Well-trained machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) systems can provide clinicians with therapeutic assistance, potentially increasing efficiency and improving efficacy. ML has demonstrated high accuracy in oncology-related diagnostic imaging, including screening mammography interpretation, colon polyp detection, glioma classification, and grading. By utilizing ML techniques, the manual steps of detecting and segmenting lesions are greatly reduced.

Background: Traditional lecture-based teaching of anatomy tends to focus on the discipline per se rather than relating it to clinical conditions. As a result, students often lose interest in the basic sciences. We hypothesized that a lecture format that encourages students to relate anatomy to case presentations might help them in appreciating clinical relevance.

Context: There is a lacuna of studies on Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in the Indian context.

Aims: (i) To identify the prevalence of ADHD in primary school children, (ii) To identify the gender difference in the prevalence of ADHD, (iii) To compare the distribution of ADHD among different socioeconomic status, (iv) To identify the presence of any co-morbid factors associated with ADHD.

Pseudoaneurysm of uterine artery: a rare cause of secondary postpartum hemorrhage.

Three cases of type IV congenital pouch colon associated with low anorectal anomaly are reported here. Pouch colon may be a cause of intractable constipation in children operated for low anorectal anomaly. Excellent results can be obtained by exicision of the pouch.

Symptomatic hepatic hemangioendothelioma in a newborn.

A case of hepatic hemangioendothelioma presenting as congestive cardiac failure in a neonate is reported. There was also evidence of platelet consumption. The case was managed successfully with oral prednisolone, resulting in improvement of symptoms and tumor regression over 3 months.

During a one year study 2955 clinical specimens of pus, urine, wound swabs, blood cultures, discharges from fistula, peritoneal aspiration fluid, CSF and sputum were processed to find out the prevalence rate of enterococci. One hundred isolates (3.38%) of Enterococci were obtained which were speciated by conventional methods.
