In the Anamallais region of south India, crop shoots from the UPASI-3, UPASI-9, UPASI-17, Assam seedlings, and TRI-2043 cultivars were examined for seasonal variations in total phenolics, antioxidant activity, and minerals during four harvest seasons: summer (January to March), premonsoon (April and May), monsoon (June to September), and winter (October to December) of two consecutive years. The total phenolics of all cultivars were lower in monsoon period and grew over rest of the seasons and it was greater during summer. Crop shoot antioxidant activity as measured by the DPPH radical scavenging experiment exhibited a similar pattern to total phenolics.

Article Synopsis
  • The research focuses on using waste Ramie Root as a powdered filler in reinforced polyester composites, creating plates with varying percentages of the root and unsaturated polyester resin through a compression molding technique.
  • The optimal mechanical properties were found in the composite with a 30:70 weight ratio of Ramie Root to polyester resin, showing improvements in glass transition temperature and bonding strength, which enhance dynamic mechanical properties.
  • Thermo-gravimetric analysis indicated that incorporating Ramie Root powder raised the thermal deterioration peak from 370 °C to 418 °C, and the composites displayed high tensile strength and bending stiffness, making them suitable for light-load applications.

Mathematically study mass transfer phenomena involving chemical reactions in the flow of Sisko Ferro nanofluids through the porous surface. Three ferronano particles, manganese-zinc ferrite (Mn1/2Zn1/2FeO), cobalt ferrite (CoFeO), and nickel-zinc ferrite (Ni-Zn FeO) are considered with water (HO) and ethylene glycol (CHO) as base liquids. Appropriate resemblance transitions are used to convert the governing system of a nonlinear PDE to a linear ODE.

Medical images of patients must be securely transmitted and kept private in telemedicine. To secure such medical images, this paper proposes a single round chaotic image encryption scheme based on a permutation-diffusion structure. A combined chaotic key generator (CCKG) is proposed to enhance key sensitivity and generation in order to improve the security of medical images to be encrypted.

As severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) evolves, it accumulates mutations, which are changes in the genetic code. Because this virus has built-in RNA repair mechanisms, it generates mutations more slowly than some other RNA viruses. Thousands of mutations have emerged since the beginning of the pandemic throughout all virus genomes sequenced to date, resulting in thousands of distinct variants.
