Purpose: The purpose of the study was to evaluate student exchange experiences to gain insight into what students perceived as benefits, challenges, and overall areas for improvement that might inform and enhance future exchange projects.
Methods: A general program evaluation survey, adapted to address the project objectives, was conducted. Eight students from Norway, Canada, and South Africa participating in an international exchange project completed an online survey.

There is a growing awareness of the importance of indoor microbiomes for human health. Given their complexity, these microbiomes can only be adequately surveyed using high throughput sequencing techniques. Oxford Nanopore's MinION is the newest third generation sequencing technology on the market.

Introduction: The focus on paediatric radiation dose reduction supports reevaluation of paediatric imaging protocols. This is particularly important in the neonates where chest radiographs are frequently requested to assess respiratory illness and line placement. Background: There is an ongoing debate concerning which guidelines and monitoring tools are most beneficial for assessing labour progression, to help prevent use of intrapartum caesarean section (ICS). The WHO partograph has been used for decades with the assumption of a linear labour progression; however, in 2010, Zhang introduced a new guideline suggesting a more dynamic labour progression. We aimed to investigate whether the frequency of ICS use differed when adhering to the WHO partograph versus Zhang's guideline for labour progression.

The design of products for people with disabilities requires the understanding of a wide range of factors related to users' health, functional abilities, needs, expectations and preferences. Such multifactorial perspective is often perceived as beyond the reach by the students of both graphic and product design, as it comprises knowledge from different areas such are not usually part of design curriculum as health, rehabilitation, computer science and biomedical engineering. Here, we report on strategies for developing design students' empathy and awareness for the needs and expectations of people with disabilities.

Background: In Norway, 91% of children aged 1-5 attend kindergarten where they are exposed to indoor microbiomes which can have relevance for development and health. In order to gain a better understanding of the composition of the indoor microbiome and how it is affected by occupancy over time, floor dust samples from a newly opened kindergarten were investigated. Samples were collected during an 11-month period.
