[Adult-onset Henoch-Schönlein purpura mimicking infectious enteritis].

A 37-year-old male with chief complaints of vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea presented to our hospital in June 2017. A blood test detected increased inflammatory response, and a computed tomography scan showed that wall thickening extended from the terminal ileum to the entire large intestine. Bacterial enteritis was suspected because his household members developed infectious enteritis; however, his symptoms did not improve after antibiotic treatment.
