A 78-year-old male, observed for bronchial asthma, underwent two emergency operations within eight days. The first operation was performed under general anesthesia with tracheal intubation. Anesthesia was maintained by sevoflurane-oxygen and continuous infusion of propofol in combination with epidural injection of lidocaine.

We experienced arytenoid dislocation in a 17-year-old man with no significant medical history, who underwent anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction under general anesthesia. After induction of anesthesia, the trachea was easily intubated with an 8.0 mm cuffed endotracheal tube.
