Purpose: This study aimed to find answers to the following questions: (1) Is it possible to determine and measure the space between the top of the graft and entrance of implant tunnel by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)? (2) Is there any correlation between the hole above the graft in femoral tunnel and the femoral tunnel widening? (3) Does the tunnel widening affect clinical outcomes? (4) Are clinical and radiological outcomes of Toggle Loc with Zip Loop implant-loop design better than Endobutton CL?

Methods: The operative data of two surgeons were analysed. One surgeon used Endobutton CL femoral fixation (E-CL group, n = 46); the other used Toggle Loc with Zip Loop femoral fixation (TL-ZL group, n = 32). At the last follow-up, clinical evaluation was performed with International Knee Documentation Committee Subjective Knee Form (IKDC), Tegner activity scale, Lysholm score, active and passive ROM, Lachman and pivot shift tests, and KT-1000 arthrometer.

Introduction: In this study, the results of local injection of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and corticosteroids in the treatment of plantar fasciitis were compared.

Patients And Methods: Sixty patients who were diagnosed as plantar fasciitis and treated conservatively for at least 3 months and had no response to conservative treatment modalities were involved in this study. The first 30 consecutive patients were treated by local injection of 2 mL of 40 mg Methylprednisolone with 2 mL of 2% prilocaine (metilprednizalone) and the second 30 patients were treated by injecting 3 mL PRP after 2 mL of 2% prilocaine injection.

Although fractures of the midfoot are common, cuneiform fractures are rarely seen. These fractures are frequently associated with other fractures of the midfoot such as Lisfranc fracture-dislocations. However, isolated cuneiform fractures are extremely rare, with few cases reported in the relevant literature.

We evaluated the gait characteristics of patients who had short or long-segment fusion after thoracolumbar burst fractures. The study included 12 patients (5 male, 7 female) who had vertebral fusion after traumatic thoracolumbar region (T12-L2) burst fractures. Patients were divided into two groups based on fixation type (short or long segment).

Biomechanical imbalance between the hallux and the second toe and external compression of the lateral nail fold are proposed as the main reasons for ingrown toenail. Therefore, any anatomical predisposition facilitating this compression may play a role in the occurrence of ingrown toenail. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between forefoot alignment and ingrown toenail.

A subungual exostosis is a benign lesion described as a variant of an osteochondroma. It mostly affects the great toe, and it can be confused with an osteochondroma and a Nora's lesion. The curative treatment for a subungual exostosis is complete excision, and the cartilaginous cap must be totally resected to prevent a possible recurrence.

The aim of this clinical study was to evaluate the influence of Kalamchi and MacEwen group I avascular necrosis of the femoral head (AVN) on the radiographic and clinical outcomes in developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH). Preoperative and follow-up (at 2-3, 4-6, 7-9 and 10-15 years of age) Sharp's acetabular angles (AA) and the final Wiberg's center-edge angles (CEA) and proximal femoral center-trochanter distances (CTD) of 13 hips with group I AVN (AVN group) were compared with measurements of 22 hips without AVN (control group). All hips were initially treated by the same soft tissue surgical procedure (posteromedial limited surgery) under the age of 18 months and were completely followed up to at least 10 years of age.

Introduction: Lindgren-Turan osteotomy used in hallux valgus deformity is a subcapital, transverse displacement osteotomy of the first metatarsal without any additional capsular repair. The aims of this study are to describe a transosseous capsuloplasty technique in this procedure and evaluate whether capsuloplasty would improve the clinical and radiological outcomes in patients with moderate to severe hallux valgus deformity.

Methods: Twenty-three feet operated by Lindgren-Turan osteotomy (Group B) and 25 feet operated by the same osteotomy combined with transosseous capsuloplasty (Group A) were evaluated retrospectively for the correction of the hallux valgus, intermetatarsal and distal metatarsal articular angles, sesamoid reduction, American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS) Clinical Rating Scale as well as patient satisfaction.

Objective: Non-specific heel pain (calcaneal apophysitis) is a common disorder, particularly in physically active growing children. Foot radiographs are usually obtained as part of the clinical evaluation in routine orthopaedic practice. However, there is still controversy about the specific findings on radiographs, and it is unclear what information is present on radiographs that may alter the diagnosis and management.
