We found that third-party apps such as Figure 1 were used predominantly by nondermatologist medical personnel for collaboration in medical decision-making related to dermatologic conditions conducted with other health care providers. This finding calls attention to the need for more readily available resources for nondermatologist health care providers encountering patients with skin-related conditions, with the added benefits of trained dermatologists being allies on such medical app platforms, and the platform allowing for recognition of instances when additional consultation or referral to trained dermatologists for more complex cases is appropriate.

Persistent homicidal ideation (HI), while not common among psychiatric disorders, can occur within multiple diagnoses in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. There is a growing global and national concern for homicide and homicide-related deaths. In this case report, we discuss refractory homicidal ideation in an 18-year-old male with the diagnoses of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and schizophrenia and a history of Tourette's syndrome and highlight the interplay of comorbidities and challenges in effective management and treatment.

Dupilumab, a systemic injectable biologic, can be prescribed to patients with atopic dermatitis who do not respond to topical treatments. Atopy can frequently subside by blocking inflammatory pathways, such as interleukin-4 (IL-4) and interleukin-13 (IL-13) in the immune system. Dupilumab is generally well-tolerated and mild; the most common adverse reactions listed are arthralgia, back pain, and conjunctivitis, which clears upon cessation or finalization of dupilumab therapy.

Objective: With dual focus on structured, objective quantification of parent observations of child's behavior and identifying behaviors most amenable to change, this report examines Parent Target Problems (PTP) as a secondary outcome in a randomized clinical trial (RCT) of children with attention-deficit/ hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in which one primary outcome, Clinical Global Impression-Improvement, showed a significant advantage of multinutrients over placebo and the other, Likert-type parent ratings, showed significant improvement in both groups, without significant difference between them.
Method: In a multisite 8-week RCT of broad-spectrum micronutrients ("multinutrients"), parents of children ages 6-12 (N = 126, 73% male, 88% white) with ADHD and emotional dysregulation nominated their child's most concerning problem(s) at baseline and quantified them by frequency, duration, impairment, and consequences. At subsequent visits, parents re-quantified the problem(s).

Duloxetine is a medication that belongs to the serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) class of drugs and is commonly used to treat various conditions, such as depression, generalized anxiety disorder, neuropathic pain, fibromyalgia, and chronic musculoskeletal pain. While side effects, such as headaches, constipation, dry mouth, dizziness, and blurred vision, are commonly associated with duloxetine, we present a case of a 59-year-old woman who experienced a rare adverse event of acid reflux while taking a 30 mg dose of duloxetine for fibromyalgia. According to the available literature, this adverse event has been reported in only 1.
