Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate the surface roughness of enamel after debonding with various types of burs.

Methods: The buccal surfaces of 20 mandibular incisors for each group of bur were subjected to profilometer analysis, and three parameters of surface irregularity were recorded. After bracket debonding, adhesive remnants were removed by tungsten carbide burs in low-speed, high-speed, and stainbuster settings.

Many systemic and local factors can cause paresthesia, and it is rarely caused by infections of dental origin. This report presents a case of mental nerve paresthesia caused by endodontic infection of a mandibular left second premolar. Resolution of the paresthesia began two weeks after conventional root canal treatment associated with antibiotic therapy and was completed in eight weeks.

This paper aims to present both intraosseous and extraosseous variant of dentinogenic ghost cell tumor as well as a review of the literature. An 11-year old female patient presented a swelling and pain in the molar area of the mandible and a 15-year-old female patient reported a complaint of swelling in the right vestibular region of teeth 12 and 13(FDI 2-digit classification system). Microscopic examinations showed similar features which characterized by ameloblastoma-like islands of epithelial cells, containing numerous ghost cells.

Purpose: To investigate the current status of exposure to mercury (Hg) among dental health workers in Turkey.

Methods: A total of 115 persons working in the same hospital were included in the study and were divided into three groups.
