Objective: This randomized clinical trial aimed to compare the efficacy of an oral irrigator and an interdental brush in patients with peri-implant mucositis clinically and biochemically at different time points (at baseline and at the 2nd, 4th, and 12th weeks).
Materials And Methods: Forty-five patients with at least one implant with peri-implant mucositis were included in the present study (n = 45). The patients were divided into three groups: oral irrigator + toothbrush (OI group, n = 15), interdental brush + toothbrush (IB group, n = 15), and toothbrush only (control) (C group, n = 15).

Objectives: The purpose of present study is to assess the maxillary sinuses patients with COPD morphometrically and volumetrically using cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) images and compared these findings according to in age and gender of control groups.
Methods: CBCT images of 80 individuals that exist from 40 patients with COPD and 40 healthy individuals (6 females, 34 males) in the tomography archive were retrospectively analyzed. The volume and surface area of maxillary sinuses in COPD and control group were measured by semi-automatic segmentation method and obtained findings were statistically examinated according to age, gender.

Methods: Radiopacities of six resin-based CAD/CAM block materials and resin composite were evaluated and compared to that of enamel and dentin. Specimens of 1-mm thickness were placed on photostimulable phosphor plate and irradiated with digital x-ray unit.

Objectives: To investigate the effect of calcium hydroxide mixed with lidocaine HCl on postoperative spontaneous pain.
Materials And Methods: Sixty patients having irreversible pulpitis and symptomatic apical periodontitis with a preoperative spontaneous pain and percussion pain which was more than 50 on a visual analogue scale (100 mm VAS) were included in this study. After the preparation of the root canals, the patients were randomly distributed into two groups according to the calcium hydroxide vehicle, control group (mixed with saline) and calcium hydroxide mixed with lidocaine HCl (n = 30).

Objectives: Bisphosphonate-related osteonecrosis of the jaw is potential side effect of long-term bisphosphonate therapy. Different treatment modalities have been used in this and investigate the effects of low-level laser therapy (LLLT) and extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) on socket healing after tooth extraction in rats given long-term bisphosphonates.

Hereditary angio-oedema (HEA) is an autosomal dominant, life-threatening genetic disorder that is caused by insufficiency or dysfunction of the C1 esterase inhibitor that develops coincidentally with recurrent oedema in the skin, internal organs, and upper respiratory tract. Increased production of bradykinin secondary to increased plasma kallikrein activity is the primary cause of attacks. Dental procedures cause emotional stress and mechanical trauma and may also initiate attacks.

Methods: One hundred twenty-seven patients (254 operated sites) underwent sagittal split ramus osteotomy due to dentofacial deformities between the period of 2011 and 2017. These patients were followed up for at least 1 year, and the data obtained from changes in sensation of inferior alveolar nerve were recorded subjectively.
