Background: Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is associated with left atrial (LA) dyfunction, which may contribute to adverse cardiovascular outcomes. This study investigates the predictive value of lately identified morphology-voltage-P wave duration electrocardiography (MVP ECG) score for detecting early LA dysfunction in COPD patients.

Methods: In this cross-sectional study, 101 COPD patients were enrolled.

This study aims to summarise the research themes, hotspots, and boundaries in the field of cyberchondria using scientometrics and visual analysis methods. Until 31 December 2022, 181 publications (165 articles, 16 reviews) were identified under the topic of 'cyberchondria' in the Web of Science Core Collection database. VOSviewer was used for analysis.

Effect of statins on arterial wall inflammation as assessed by 18F-FDG PET CT: an updated systematic review and meta-analysis.

Background: Pathogenesis of atherosclerosis is largely mediated by inflammatory process. Development of a superhydrophobic and superoleophilic halloysite nanotube/phenyltriethoxysilane-coated melamine sponge sorbent material with high performance in supercritical CO atmosphere for the selective and effective oil spill cleanup and oil-water separation.

In this study, activated halloysite nanotube (HNT) and phenyltriethoxysilane (PTES) were utilized for the first time to fabricate modified HNT materials and coat them onto melamine sponge (MS) substrate in the supercritical carbon dioxide (scCO) atmosphere. The successful coating of MS substrate was confirmed using SEM, EDS, XPS, and contact angle measurements. The drainage technique applied in the CO medium achieved the uniform coating of both the inner and outer surfaces of the MS.

The aim of this study was to characterize and explore the food potential of sainfoin seeds, which are primarily used in their green plant form to feed livestock. In this study, it was aimed to reveal the diagnostic yield of whole exome sequencing (WES) in children with epilepsy and neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs). Children aged 1 to 17 years with epilepsy and NDD who underwent WES were included in this retrospective study.
